Abu Rayhan Beruni in his work "Memorials from ancient peoples" reflects on Nowruz. Speaking about Navroz, Alisher Navoi says, "Every night is blessed, every day is Navroz."

Dehkan Baba: Greetings, my dear compatriots, kind teachers, dear students! Nowruz holiday is visiting our motherland. With the arrival of Nowruz, nature wakes up. By itself, there will be more work for the grandfather farmer, that is, for me. Because the work done in early spring always pays off. And those who work will not be few. There is no doubt that today's celebration will encourage our people to work hard and earn a living. Working hard to make life bright depends directly on work. For example, according to some Zoroastrian concepts, Ahuramaz, the god of good, ruled in spring and summer, and Ahriman, the god of evil, ruled in autumn and winter.
