During breastfeeding, my breasts became different
It is natural for a woman's breasts to increase in size during breastfeeding.
Breasts are regularly filled with milk to meet the needs of the baby.
After a few months, sometimes the two breasts may be different in size.
This is because:
1. The child is used to breastfeeding only one breast;
2. The mother breastfeeds with only one breast because it is convenient for her or because she has pain in the other breast;
3. When breastfeeding, the child is not given both breasts at the same time.
4. One nipple is small or uncomfortable, the child refuses this breast.
5. One nipple is cracked and cannot be given to the child.
If the above conditions continue for a long time, the size of the breasts will be different. The most important thing is to correct this during breastfeeding.
Otherwise, when the baby is weaned, the size of the breasts will be different when the milk returns from the breast.
What to do?
1. Breasts that appear small should be breastfed more and, more importantly, longer. Usually, women begin to breastfeed more often in order to reduce the size of large breasts, as a result of which the breasts will be replenished with milk and remain large.
It is advisable to breastfeed a small breast more often. Then it becomes completely empty and begins to enlarge, filling with milk again and again.
2. Breastfeed the baby at bedtime and during sleep. Let the child suck on the small breast even in his sleep. Then the amount of milk coming to this breast will increase and its size will increase.
3. When you start breastfeeding, start with the large breast and switch to the small breast after a while. Take the rear (fatty) milk from the small breast. Then it starts to fill up a lot.
4. If you do not spare the cracked breast, but breastfeed it often, both the crack will heal and the breast will fill with milk and increase in size.
5. For a few days, breastfeed with a large breast only when it is very full. But beware of lactostasis. During the breast augmentation period, use mostly small breasts.
6. If the child cannot take the small breast in his mouth, then you should teach him to this nipple, approach it with patience and skill.
7. If you are breastfeeding for some reason, then do not milk the enlarged breast as much as possible, if you stimulate the small one a lot, it will fill up with milk and get bigger.
Bringing the breast size to the same level is not something that happens in 2 days. Approach it with patience and regularity.
To prevent uneven breast size:
1. Breastfeed the baby equally with both breasts.
2. Hold the child to the breast;
3. If the child has learned to suckle at night, do not forget to change the breasts.
4. If you are breastfeeding, express the same volume.
One thing to remember: the more a small breast is stimulated, the faster it will grow.
