There are two different forms of many medications. Gel and ointment form. Or which one of the two similar painkillers, ointment and gel, should be taken in case of a collision?
📚 The differences are enough but I will point out the differences from the shorter and more desirable feature:
Gel - hydrophilic (water soluble)
Maz - hydrophobic (water soluble)
🪴 Human skin tissue absorbs hydrophilic drugs. Conclusion:
🧾 The gel penetrates deeper when rubbed and heals a wound or disease under the skin. So, if the injury or disease is deep, it is better to use the gel. For example, if back pain is from the spine, knee pain is from the bone.
🧾 Maz - does not penetrate under the skin and stays more on the skin surface. Due to this, it is desirable to use ointment in superficial injuries and diseases. Bruising, itching, gums and sores.
