In Uzbekistan, the salaries of certain categories of teachers and doctors will be increased
In Uzbekistan, in 2022 the salaries of certain categories of teachers and doctors will be increased by at least 15%. This was announced in the Presidential Decree "On the Development Strategy of the New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026", which was put up for public discussion.
In 2022, it is planned to increase the salaries of talented teachers and doctors by the following amounts, categorized according to qualification categories:
for teachers of the highest category - at least 15 percent;
for teachers of the first category and doctors of higher and first category - at least 10 percent;
for teachers and doctors of the second category - at least 5 percent.
