Is kissing the Qur'an heresy?

SHARE WITH FRIENDS:

Sometimes "Kissing the Qur'an is bid'ah, and it is not narrated from the pious Salafis that it is a sin to do so." we hear the words. What is the Shari'ah ruling on these issues? Is kissing the Qur’an really an innovation and a sin, or is it a mandub that is permissible according to the Shari’ah?
The Hanafi, Shafi'i, and Hanbali sects say: “It is permissible to kiss the Mushaf (Qur'an). And the Shafi'is are mustahab.they said.
The real rule and perfect respect in glorifying the Qur'an is to recite it regularly with kindness and prudence, and to follow it!
It is permissible and mustahab to glorify the mushaf with the act of kissing the Qur'an, and to intend respect and love.
The Egyptian scholar Sheikh Ali Juma says: “Some people say that if the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not kiss the Qur’an, it would be heresy. We say this is wrong. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) could not kiss the Qur'aan because the Qur'aan had not been compiled while he was alive.
Those who say that kissing the Qur'an is bid'ah cite Ibn Hanbal's statement that kissing the congregation (inanimate objects) is haraam until there is no Shari'ah evidence for it. This fatwa of Ibn Hanbal, may God have mercy on him, is correct. But this verse is about Hajar al-Aswad. There are also documents from the practice of the Companions to kiss the Qur’an.
'Uthman and' Ali used to kiss the Qur'an. If it were haram, these Companions would never have done it. ”
Some: "Putting the Qur'an on one's face is heresy", they say.
We cite the following evidence for this:
When the Egyptian fatwa panel was asked about the ruling on kissing the Qur'an, they replied: “It is permissible for scholars to kiss with the intention of glorifying the Qur’an. Indeed, the Qur'an is the book of Allah and a great miracle bestowed on our master Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). It is said that kissing the Qur'an is a good deed without any harm.
Muhammad Haskafi, one of the Hanafi scholars, says in his book Durrul Mukhtar: In the book Qunya, kissing the Qur'an is called bid'ah. However, 'Umar took the Qur'an every morning and kissed it.
It is narrated that he said, "The covenant of my Lord, the treatise of my Lord, may He be glorified and exalted."
'Uthman used to kiss the Qur'an and rub it on his face.
Also Imam Nawawi Tibyon He said: It is narrated on the authority of Abu Mulayka in al-Darami Musnad that Ikrima put the Qur'an on his face and said, "The word of my Lord, the word of my Lord.", he would say.
Ibn Hajar Haytami Shafi'i "Tuhfatul needy fiy sharhil manhaj" In his book (1/155) he said: “Imam Subki compares the permissibility of kissing the Qur’an to the permissibility of kissing the hand of Hajar al-Aswad, the scholar, the righteous, and the parents. It is already known that the best of these deeds is to kiss the Qur'an.
This means that kissing the Qur'an is mustahab, and this was done by the Companions. It is permissible for someone to kiss the Qur'an in a respectful manner. There is no harm in not kissing.
However, kissing the Qur'an and respecting it with the face is bid'ah.
