"Our national army is a strong guarantee of our independence, peace and tranquility"
                                                  Islam Karimov
It is known that from the first years of independence, the issue of strengthening the defense of our country has been identified as one of the most important priorities of state policy. The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 6 on the establishment of the Ministry of Defense laid the foundation for this work. It was later renamed the Ministry of Defense.
On January 1992, 14, another important event in the history of our independent state took place. By the decision of the Supreme Council of the Republic "On military units and military educational institutions located in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan", all military structures in the territory of the country were transferred to the control of independent Uzbekistan. This document, adopted on the initiative of the head of our state, paved the way for the development of a long-term program of reforming our army. On December 1993, 29, January 14 was declared the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland.
Today, life itself requires the widespread use of modern information and communication technologies in the management, planning and application of the Armed Forces, the integration of management information and military communication systems, the creation of a single digital information and communication network of our Armed Forces. In the gradual and systematic formation of our national army, first of all, the geostrategic and geopolitical position of Uzbekistan in our region and in the modern world, serious internal and external threats and dangers to the security of our country, especially the growing international terrorism, extremism, we have acted in the face of disasters such as the ever-expanding scale of drug aggression and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Our army embodies the most advanced experience of world military construction, and at the same time continues our national military traditions with high devotion, as well as military actions and combat operations that are likely to take place in our region. both are taken into account in all respects. The education system in our military educational institutions is changing radically, with the training and education of future officers in a completely new, fundamentally new educational and technical and moral education that fully meets modern requirements. established on a moral basis. The ranks of the army include, first of all, brave and selfless, intellectually trained personnel who are determined to serve our independent and sovereign Uzbekistan, to protect its interests and borders, the peaceful and serene life of our people.
Thanks to the large-scale reforms carried out over the past period, it is able to reliably protect the security of our country, the inviolability of our borders, to prevent any malicious attempts against the peaceful and serene life of our people. Our national army, equipped with modern weapons and military equipment, has been formed.
Today, the sons of our country are the followers of our great ancestor. When thinking about the spiritual world of our great ancestors, it is natural to pay special attention to our grandfather Sahibkiran Amir Temur, who is known and famous all over the world. Because this classic figure, a symbol of perseverance, courage and wisdom, built a great empire, left behind a practical and theoretical legacy of statehood, paved the way for the development of science, culture, creativity, religion and spirituality. . From the above considerations and evidence, it is clear that the statesman was a very enterprising, business-minded man from a young age, who was particularly well versed in the subtle, difficult-to-understand secrets of governance. In his worldview, his interest in the state and military affairs awakens from a young age. He was examined by scribes and praised in memory of the power. By the time he was twelve, he was: a child prodigy from games and trying to spend his time with teens his own age.
At the age of 16-18, Timur mastered the art of fencing, spear-hunting and hunting, and at the age of 20 he became a skilled horseman. He then divides his peers into groups and begins to conduct combat exercises. Until the age of sixteen, Sahibkiran was aware not only of religious but also of secular sciences — history, philosophy, geography, arithmetic, and other sciences. The great military leader has made a great contribution to the development of the country, the improvement of the economic life of the population and the provision of abundance. This is due to the four things in the affairs of the kingdom that the great Amir's pir Zayniddin Abubakr Taybodi taught: 1. The Council; 2. Consultation; 3. Solid decision, entrepreneurship and vigilance; 4. Achieved due to adherence to caution. We can see this from the words of Amir Temur: "I did nine parts of my work with councils, events and consultations, and the rest with the sword." No matter what country Sahibkiran sent troops to, he defended justice and fought for justice and piety. In most cases, the wars that took place were fought over the injustice, dishonesty and unbelief of Amir Temur's opponents. Today, the heritage of martial arts created by Sahibkiran has taken a worthy place in the heritage of martial arts of the peoples of the world and is enriched with a new meaning of today.
The homeland begins on the threshold, in the corner where a person lives and breathes, in the soil of the house where a person's umbilical cord blood is shed. it is both an obligation and a duty for him to rub every handful of holy soil on his eyes like a parrot, to live with a lifelong sense of childhood towards him. Every inch of land in our country is sacred. That is why our ancestors smelt the soil of the country and breathed in the memory of the homeland wherever they went. The people of our country cannot achieve happiness outside our homeland. Everyone's homeland is the most beautiful and sacred place in the world for him. It is unbelievable to say that a person who has no love for his homeland has love for his parents. Loyalty to the motherland, interest in the heritage of ancestors, enjoyment of national spirituality, self-confidence, a sense of responsibility for the future. The essence of the "Day of Defenders of the Fatherland" in educational institutions is to protect students from the potential and prestige of the Armed Forces of the Republic, the independence and territorial integrity of our country, the creative work to strengthen the peaceful life and independence of our people. , one of the most important tasks of the pedagogical staff of all educational institutions is to highlight the importance of educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, educating them as loyal and devoted people to their homeland. Today, it has become a tradition for students to form the main directions of national ideas, such as the development of the motherland, peace, prosperity of the people, the perfect man, social cooperation, to further improve the spiritual and educational work in these educational institutions. is growing. The patriotic system also includes the ceremonies of escorting young people to military service. Reliable protection of the peace and tranquility of our homeland, our people, today is becoming a dream and duty of every young girl.
Today's youth are the guardians of our independent homeland. If we bring up the younger generation as harmoniously developed, mature people, if we consistently form honor and national pride in each of them, our country will become such a powerful state. The future of our independent country is our young people, who live with confidence in the protection of the homeland, peace and tranquility of our people, patriotism, loyalty and devotion. Everyone living in our holy land, regardless of nationality, religion and belief, should be justifiably proud of such achievements.
