January 8 is the Day of Prosecutors
On December 2016, 19, the President laid the foundation for an important historical date for prosecutors. In other words, they signed a law "On January 8 - the Day of Prosecutors of the Republic of Uzbekistan." It should be noted that the prosecutor's office is working hard to strengthen the rule of law in society, ensure the rule of law, prevent crime and delinquency, in general, in all areas and achieve significant results. Ensuring the well-being, peace and tranquility of our people, the comprehensive development of our country is the highest goal of all of us. We are required to fulfill the honorable and difficult task of ensuring the rule of law and justice in society with high responsibility and loyalty. The transformation of the prosecutor's office into a people's prosecutor's office, first of all, will ensure full openness and transparency in the system and will serve only in the interests of the people, - said the Prosecutor General.
