People's Writer of Uzbekistan and public figure Utkir Hoshimov (1941 - 2013). For almost forty years he has made a worthy contribution to the development of our literature with his brilliant journalistic articles, stories, short stories and novels. In 1991, Utkir Hoshimov was awarded the honorary title of "People's Writer of Uzbekistan" for his fruitful creative work. At that time, the great writers of our literature, such as Oybek, Gafur Gulam, Abdulla Kahhor, Maksud Shaykhzoda, were alive, and not everyone was lucky enough to get their attention. Utkir Hoshimov was one of the young people who attracted the attention of such a famous artist as Abdulla Kahhor. Utkir Hoshimov was born on August 1941, 5 in Dombirabad district of Zangiota district of Tashkent region. He spent his childhood during the hardships and needs of the war. The novel "Between Two Doors" is one of the most significant works of the author. The novel depicts the qualities of the Uzbek people - generosity, faithfulness in any situation, kindness, deep feelings, bright colors.
In the play, the author skillfully captures the life of the Uzbek people during the war, the intricacies of his life, on the example of a number of complex destinies that span almost forty years. The play depicts the fate of the people who have faced the endless sufferings of the time, who have not lost their human dignity, who have linked their destiny with the destiny of the Motherland. The reader who reads the work will witness that the artist was able to fully embody the spirit of that time in the work.

Utkir Hoshimov is one of the leading writers of our literature.
He is a person who can contribute to our literature with his works and novels. My favorite novel is "Between Two Doors".
