October 17 is the date of production of the first Cadillac in Detroit, USA
The Cadillac was invented by the talented inventor Henry Martin Leland. Henry and his son Wilfred collaborated with Henry Ford and other famous car inventors. In August 1902, Ford co-founded a company called the Cadillac Motor Car Company in honor of Louisiana Governor and Detroit founder Marquis Antoine de Cadillac. On October 17 this year, the first model A of the Cadillac was ready. By the end of this year, two more cars had been assembled, and these cars were shown at the January 1903 New York Auto Show. The success was astounding — by the end of the show, the company had received orders for 2286 cars. The speed of this car was 48 km per hour and it cost $ 750. It was possible to get an extra double seat and a model with a soft collapsible umbrella by paying a higher price for the car order. By the 1930s, the Cadillac had become the perfect vehicle. In 1933, experimental models with independently decorated front wheels of the car appeared. In 1941, the Cadillac was the first in the world to demonstrate a luxury model with an automatic hydraulic transmission, an artificial climate system, and a rear-view fuel tank, then the Cadillac began to work with new power and was recognized as the best car. Aerodynamic "filters" appeared on the rear wings of the 1948 models. This design mahogany has won the admiration of many. In 1953, the Eldorado appeared, which was a completely modified version of the post-war car. It was for the first time decorated with a wide front window and distinctive headlights. In 1964, the company produced its third millionth car. But the company doesn’t stop there with its successes. Within three years, there will be models with "rotating headlights", two-contour brakes and automatic climate control systems, heated front seats and Track Master system. Since 1978, diesel-powered types of Cadillac have been developed from conveyors. Almost all of the Cadillac had its own steering wheel and brakes, air conditioning, electric window lifter, seat with mechanism and luggage compartment. In short, it has become one of the most comfortable cars in the world. Many U.S. presidents have recognized the Cadillac as a “government hunt”. Of course, specially armored Cadillac models were developed for government officials. In such special cars, Presidents Jim Carter, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton made official visits.
