International Orthopedic Nurses Day is an international professional holiday celebrated on October 30 each year. Orthopedics is a branch of clinical medicine that deals with the treatment, prevention and treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Orthopedic nurses are involved in the care of traumatologist-orthopedic patients. International Orthopedic Nurses Day is celebrated in the United States, where it was first celebrated in 1990 with the help of the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses (NAON).
