2022 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, adopted on August 2, 425 Amendments to Decision No. 2021 "On measures to improve the procedure for the attestation of personnel" entered.
According to it, pedagogues who have maintained it for 15 years after obtaining the higher qualification category and have continuous work experience (including the period of decree leave) are not involved in mandatory attestation.
According to the current revised version, pedagogues-personnel are of the highest category, and after confirming their level 3 times in mandatory attestation, they can become the highest category for life.
For example, a pedagogue who graduated from a higher education institution in 2022, using the opportunities of extraordinary attestation, will be of the highest category in 2024 and will be certified 15 times in 3 years (in 2029, 2034 and 2039). In this case, the pedagogue retains the highest category until retirement at the age of 39.
In the previous edition, there were different interpretations about whether pedagogues who received a higher category in 15 years without having a higher category for 16 years can automatically keep the higher category for life or not.
This was the reason why some teachers who were first category 1 and received the highest category in the last attestation did not improve their qualifications later.
