A book is a treasure of thought
The great playwright William Shakespeare said about books: "A book is of special importance when its contents are not only gilded, but also its contents are golden."
"The book is a grateful teacher. Every minute he can acquaint us with the wealth of knowledge of the sages," writes the great poet and thinker Mir Alisher Navoi.
It is known that the role of the book is incomparable in satisfying the intellectual and spiritual-aesthetic needs of the population, in particular, in educating young people to be independent thinkers, have a strong life position, truly patriotic and intellectually mature people.
Although we cannot imagine our days without the advanced technologies of today's information age, it is gratifying that there are young people among our peers who are familiar with books. We are happy to see people with books in their hands on the streets and in vehicles. Unfortunately, sometimes among young people, they waste their precious time on idle activities, especially playing too many computer and cell phone games. , it is not right for them to spend watching meaningless movies. Instead, it is advisable to schedule the time spent outside of studies for productive activities. It is especially important to set aside certain parts of the day for reading useful books. Because the book "knowledge acquired in youth is carved in stone" will be missed in life even after years.
Currently, in our country, sufficient attention is paid to issues related to books. The issue of reading books is being widely promoted among young people in order to educate young people in the spirit of a mature generation. In particular, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on January 2017, 12 "On the creation of a commission for the development of the system of printing and distribution of book products, the improvement and promotion of book reading and book-reading culture" the order was announced.
This year, on the initiative of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan «the one who reads the book rides the "Spark" Under the slogan, the best readers were presented with a Presidential gift "Spark". It is not an exaggeration to say that many young people became interested in reading books. Indeed, it is no exaggeration to say that today all the libraries of our country are full of readers. I admit that before, like some young people, I "swam" in the virtual world. But now I also have a great interest in books.
In one of the Japanese schools, a poll was held asking what is the greatest discovery in world history. Participants in this survey mentioned various things that they considered to be miracles: fire, engine, atomic bomb, electrical engineering and several other things. However, among the participants, the answer of the 6th grade student who said "The best discovery is a book" was liked by the members of the jury. To the question of why the book, he answered, "The opinions of the others are also correct, but without the book, none of them would have been invented."
Look at this, that this answer, which has not occurred to many people, is slowly proving to be true. The book is truly a miracle, the sentences quoted in it are able to carry out tasks such as involuntarily infecting the reader, having a spiritual influence on him, and intellectual growth.
It is a mistake to use a book merely as a means of entertainment or boredom. The book educates the human spirit as a factor that satisfies the needs of thinking and the soul, and is the main driver in the formation of his personality. In the process of reading a book, a person can keep the information in his memory by keeping not only his mind and eyes, but also his heart awake at the same time. The purpose of reading a book is to understand its content, to feel the meaning embedded in it by heart, and to gain meaning through it. Reading a book definitely does not allow a spiritual void to appear in a person, so any person who reads a book can become a highly spiritual person.
