Valve has announced Counter-Strike 2
The new version of the legendary game was created in the Source 2 graphics engine. Among the changes are reworked maps, improved smoke graphics (for example, it can now be dispersed by a grenade explosion), and new mechanics for the player's interaction with the server: Movement is no longer dependent on throwing grenades and its refresh rate.
Counter-Strike 2's limited testing began on March 22. It is expected to be released in the summer of 2023.
