Q: Following the recent charity events organized for people with leukemia on various social networks and websites, it seemed that the disease was on the rise. From what I’ve heard, whitewashing has been rare in the past. What is the reason for the increase in the number of people suffering from this disease now?

A: The last 10 years have seen an increase in blood diseases around the world. Diseases such as leukemia, aplastic anemia, and hemorrhagic diathesis also plague people. Examples of the main factors influencing the increase in blood diseases are exogenous and endogenous, i.e. radiation, chemical industry, environmental environment, radiation and others. According to official statistics, there is an increase in blood diseases in our country.

Globally, according to statistics, the disease is more common among men than women. The situation is similar in Uzbekistan. Most people between the ages of 18 and 35 are affected by blood diseases.
