What should be considered in the upbringing of a child? 18+

Does my child lie a lot despite being young? Even if I teach him not to lie, he will repeat the same mistake. How can you teach him not to lie?
A fan. Against.

All parents naturally emphasize that it is impossible to lie to your child and always tell the truth. But if there is a knock on the door, a gas, or, say, a neighbor, the parents tell the child, "Tell me I'm not home." In doing so, the child sees the parent lying and thinks, "So sometimes you can lie." Each time such a situation is repeated, they form the idea that it is normal for a child to lie. Gradually, lying becomes a child's habit. To prevent this, the work a parent does with every word they say must be proportionate, and they themselves must not lie to their children. Children become imitators. They make their first imitations based on their parents. The proverb of our people "He left what he saw in the bird's nest" is a proof of this.
