"I'll be back as a song…" (screenplay dedicated to the birth of Muhammad Yusuf)
Our literature does not even notice how the poet Muhammad Yusuf got into poetry. But he quickly, to everyone's surprise, fell into his mouth. When it comes to his work, he often sings his songs. His writings are on a very topical issue, very serious, but very close to the vernacular and fluent. He became famous not only for his songs, but first of all for his poems, which expressed the pain of the people in barrels and described the love of the country in unique verses.

"I'll be back as a song"
It is dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the People's Poet of Uzbekistan Muhammad Yusuf
  Tashkent 2009
We have often heard that a magic bird always sings in the heart of a true poet. I firmly believed that this bird was the heart of Muhammadjon. Both his eyes and his face always seemed to sing delicately.

Muhammad Yusuf is a poet who has won the love of the people
If you turn the pages of Muhammad Yusuf's books, we will read each poem with pleasure, as if a song were playing under your ears. You often share an inner pain.
Muhammad Yusuf was a rare talent, but he was also a rare poet. He was chasing her, not fame. At first glance, Y's poems seem to be very simple and straightforward. However, no poet can write like him. His seemingly written verses make his fans cry, laugh and embrace him. People did not read his poems without excitement, they searched for his books in shops.
Muhammad Yusuf was one of the happiest, most successful poets. He was lucky to see an independent country, a free people. During the great holidays of his country, his songs were played in barrels. Young people even turned their poems about Uzbekistan into their anthems. In this regard, it is necessary to pay special attention of our esteemed head of state to this humble poet. The love of the President fell on the poet Muhammad Yusuf when he heard the song about our grandfather Ulugbek. He was gladly awarded the title of "People's Poet".
The symbol of the people and the homeland in the poetry of Muhammad Yusuf
Loving, honoring and protecting the Motherland is the first duty of a person, and at the same time his patriotic quality is one of the highest feelings of the soul. That is why the love and longing of the Motherland shakes the heart without taking two steps away from it. Nothing can replace the love of the homeland, the longing for the holy motherland. Muhammad Yusuf also used the melody of folk songs in his poems as an important methodological tool. This also serves to strengthen the international, national spirit of the poet's works.
Homeland!… What in the world is greater than this word. Is there a poet in the world who does not glorify him ?! There is also the fact that each artist discovers the homeland in his heart.
The poems written by Muhammad Yusuf in the spirit of patriotism can also be said to be the result of his love for the Motherland and high inspiration. He praises the Motherland for how close and whole it is to the child's heart:
What have I done to the world,
                   You are my bright world.
                   You are right,
                   Your own sultan,
                   Your throne, Solomon,
                   Alone,
                   I'm the only one
                   What did I find?
You are one of my greats
                   You are great, my homeland…
In one of his first poems, Muhammad Yusuf wrote: "Mother, I will stay in Tashkent and become a great poet, or I will go to the village and die leaning on mint."
Indeed, Muhammad Yusuf became one of the great poets of our country. After graduating from Tashkent State University, he worked in newspaper, magazine and publishing houses. His first collection of poems "Tanish teraklar" was published in 1985. Later, many of his collections were published, such as "Prayer", "Sleeping Girl", "Ship of Love", "A Friend in the Heart", "A Liar". His poems were very popular among the people, many of which were sung.
The poet always wrote a poem in response to various changes in society. This is not a simple attitude, but the burning pains of the heart have caused pain in the hearts of others. Muhammad Yusuf wrote many poems about history. The motherland suffered and was oppressed by the calamities that befell its people. The tragedy that befell the people a few hundred years ago also touches the poet's heart. He thought about the future of the people. He said that in order to know the future, one must know history.
In many of his poems he remembered the spirit of our oppressed compatriots. These poems have the power of a mourning song, like a statue to the souls of our unjustly executed ancestors. When a reader reads these poems, how many horrors appear in his eyes:
White gold grandfather, oh golden grandfather,
                    Usmonim, Cholponim, Abdullo bobom.
There was blood in the Black Sea
My grandfather Akmal Ikram, my grandfather Faizulla.
It is obvious that these four lines of poetry express many ideas. However, these four lines are only the first verses of a great poem. The continuation of the poem is also written with similarly heated verses.
Many poems of the poet are sung as songs. These are not ordinary songs, they are songs that enchant a person, make him tremble, move emotions.
The poet's poems about the motherland, the country, the people are very attractive. His poems "Vatan", "Madhiya", "Samarkand", "Xalq bol elim" are examples of this. The poem "Xalq bo'l elim" has become a solemn, attractive song, which has gained great popularity among the people, and has raised the people to their feet on holidays:
Let my ancient melodies return to the ancient land,
Don't let the sand dry up my rivers.
       My grandmothers who said alpomish
If you want to make your soul happy, be a nation!
Look at the world, who else is like you,
Who else is in pain like you?
Who else is able to become a nation like you?
If you want to remember Mazi, be a people!
At the end of these lines, the poet assured the younger generation to be with the people, instilling in them the respect for our ancestors, the glory of the Motherland, courage and selflessness, and said: "Be my people," he shouted.
In short, Muhammad Yusuf is a versatile artist. The themes he wrote were varied and approached each with its own originality.
A song of kindness and love
The international tone defines the main direction of Muhammad Yusuf's poetry. Simplicity and sincerity, free from loftiness in his poems, on the other hand, closeness to music are the core of this folk melody.
It is a fact that what he saw as a child, his childhood memories shape his creative personality and worldview. What the artist was tired of in his childhood, what he aspired to, can be seen in his works in various forms. There are many examples of this in the history of literature. Having memorized Fariduddin Attor's Mantiq ut-tayr as a child, Hazrat Alisher Navoi also lived under the influence of this work all his life and was inspired by it.
In this sense, if we look at the poetry of Muhammad Yusuf, it is not difficult to see, first of all, the feeling of coercion for love, thirst for human love. There are many images in his poems, which are often used, the level of use is regular, evokes love and enhances the feeling of compassion. These are: "gazelle", "ohu", "deer", "butterfly", "swallow", "tulip", "mint", "star". This
phrases move from line to line, from line to line, from poem to poem, and in the poet's poetry he has risen to the level of a symbol of sadness, despair, love.
The above-mentioned images can be found in the poet's heartbreaking poems about mothers, girls and women in general. There is an inner closeness between mothers, daughters, sisters and naturally selected images. This inner closeness is evident in the tenderness of both parties, the need for protection, the violence of honor, the thirst for honor, the thirst for kindness.
It is said that the house with a girl is a fraction
It is said that the way to heaven is a path with a girl.
             Don't complain that I don't have a son,
If there is no mountain, the hill is called a pillar.
May the happiness of the people be with the heroes.
May there be Amins and Khalids.
Will springs fall on a country without girls?
There is a girl, the land is alive, a fortified idol,
Will the guy fire if the girl doesn't wait?
Let the souls be attached, let the limbs be a tumor.
May there be Masuds and Mawlids.
It is not surprising that the content of Muhammad Yusuf's work, the way he reads these poems, the compassionate expressions and images are probably connected with the biography of the poet.
Another of the foundations of Muhammad Yusuf's work is the theme of love. In the words of great philosophers, love is an old thing, but every heart renews it, rediscovers it. From the poems on the theme of love, the poet's pen flows, the abstract feeling takes a concrete form, the feeling of self-expression enters the language. The pains, sufferings, and fidelity of love are expressed in poetic images, in unexpected qualities, in a unique way, and in the Muhammadan style.
                    Love, O beautiful suffering,
O old pain, O old feeling.
Put your hand on my chest,
                    You poured out my heart.
                    Love, O beautiful suffering,
I wandered the streets, wandering, wandering,
Your face is on my face,
                    You blindfolded me! ..
Thus, we can say with confidence that Muhammad Yusuf became an artist with his own voice and style, leaving a unique mark in literature.
Memories of the poet
“Muhammad Yusuf quickly fell into his mouth. No other poet has made such a name for himself. Frankly, he caught sight of Muhammad. In fact, original poets do not live long. But they leave behind a legacy that will last forever. He left such an immortal legacy.
Muhammad touched the hearts of the fans of the poem. The poet is no more. But there is a Poet called Muhammad Yusuf. This poetry will never perish. ”
Saeed Ahmed

People's writer of Uzbekistan.
"He was not ashamed of his reputation, he was ashamed to run for his honor. It is natural and legitimate for only such a good person to be a good creator. Muhammad Yusuf was revered by our people because of such high qualities. The head of our state showed fatherly love. His services were appreciated by our state "

                                                                           People's poet of Uzbekistan.
"I was attracted to this small, hot-tempered, dark-skinned young man at first sight. I would like to emphasize that a person studies science and life lessons until the end of his life. But the science of writing poetry is such a science that it is impossible to study. He must be born.
Muhammad was also an innate talent. He developed this talent and became demanding. "

                                                                           People's writer of Uzbekistan.
»He is an honest poet, honest and pure in heart. That is why his poetry is full of spirituality. Whether he sang about the Motherland, composed a song about love, or sang about our history and destiny, there was always a sense of sympathy for life and truth. His poems are simple, fluent, and with their simplicity captivate the oral creativity of the people.
