According to the Regulation approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 140, students of general secondary education institutions are given the following holidays during the academic year:
. autumn vacation - 4 calendar days from November 6;
. winter vacation - 28 calendar days from December 14;
. spring break - 21 calendar days from March 7;
. summer vacation - from the date of the last stage control test (the day after the end of the academic year for classes without stage control) to September 1.
. If the last day of the holiday falls on a holiday (non-working day), classes will continue from the next working day.
. An additional one-week vacation is scheduled for February for 1st graders.
