Stages of development of the human embryo
The embryonic period lasts about 8 weeks, going through several stages.
1. On the first day, the process of fertilization of the egg with sperm takes place.
2.Then follow the grinding process for several days. During the developmental period of the embryo, each cell divides and as a result is called a “blastula”. From its cells, the trophoblast, i.e. the future placenta, as well as the embryonic plate - the future child - emerges as a result.
3.One week after conception, the implantation process begins and this takes about 2 days.
4. In the next 7 days, a germinal disc is formed. From the ectoderm (the outer layer of the embryonic plate) the skin and nervous system begin to develop. In the lower layer, or entoblast digestive system, develops the respiratory tract. Between these two layers, the mesoblast, which in turn forms the skeleton, muscles, circulatory system.
From 5.3 weeks all human embryos begin to develop. At the beginning of the third month, germs of all internal organs appeared.
