Surkhan group It was founded in 1999 and has been operating creatively. The group "Surkhan" has brought to the art of singing in Uzbekistan the unique musical heritage of the southern regions of Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya. The group "Surkhan" was one of the first to work on this path and was able to raise it to a new level in our variety. Recognized by the general public and artists as the founder of a new direction in modern Uzbek singing, the group "Surkhan" initially consisted of six people: Mahmud Namozov, Arkady Lee, Ilhom Mamataliev, Uktam Khakimov, Odiljon Karimov and Tulkin Fayziev.

In December 2002, Surkhan toured India (Delhi, Bombay, Trivandrum, China, Andaman and Nicobar Islands).

In the first ten days of September 2003, the Surkhan group returned to Switzerland (Davos, Altendorf).

At the end of 2003, the musician Uktam Khakimov, who contributed to the group with his words and hard work, started working in another group to try himself in the field of production. The group "Surkhan" with its remaining five members continued his work.

In May 2004, Surkhan toured Germany (Berlin, Frankfurt and Potsdam).

In 2005, the group "Surkhan" won the nomination "Best National Variety Group of the Year" at the presentation of "Tarona".

They exhibited their art in Turkey (Antalya and Istanbul) on January 2007-13, 22.

From February 2007 to March 26, 3, they toured India (Delhi and Agra).

In May 2009, Surkhan toured the South Korean capital, Seoul, and returned to Uzbekistan to learn Uzbek art.

Surkhan has been holding its annual concerts at the Turkiston and Istiqlol Art Palaces since 1999. Surkhan has released 10 albums over the past 11 years. Hundreds of songs performed by the group "Surkhan" have been distributed on audio, video, SD and DVD in hundreds of thousands of copies.

Singer Mahmud Namozov, a member of the group "Surkhan", worked as a soloist in the group until September 2009. Mahmud Namozov worked in the group "Surkhan" and in 2000 was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, and in 2008 - People's Artist of Uzbekistan. She started her career as a solo singer in September 2009.

In 2009, the Surkhan group joined the Creative Union of Art Communities of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Arkady Nam (Aliakbarkhan) is a singer and musician. Despite being Korean, he can sing not only in Uzbek but also in many foreign languages. He speaks Uzbek fluently and appreciates Uzbek national art. A skilled guitarist, he can play music on several stringed instruments. He is also the director of Surkhan Group LLC. He was born in Bektemir district of Tashkent.

Ilhom Mamataliyev is a composer and producer. Surkhan is the author of many songs in the program. His compositions have been performed not only by the Surkhan group, but also by many other well-known artists of our country. He considers it his duty to closely support, advise and collaborate with young performers who are now entering the arts. He was born in Muzrabot district of Surkhandarya region.

Tolqin Fayziev (Tolqin Fayz) - in the room and musician. In addition to masterfully singing Uzbek classical, pop and folk songs, he skillfully performs percussion instruments. It’s no wonder that Wave’s talent for music is remarkable when he was born into a family of artists. He was born in Muzrabad district of Surkhandarya region.

Odiljon Karimov (Odil Karim) - in the room and musician. He sings folk, Uzbek classics, pop and foreign songs. He is also a skilled performer of all musical instruments, as well as ethno instruments such as drums, cymbals, sibiziks, shulloviks, and spools. He was born in Shurchi district of Surkhandarya region.

In 2009, the group released a new album of MP3 + bonus clips called "Let the Brave Guys Play" and a music video for the songs "Adosiman", "Sunbul hair", "Funny song", "Husningga hayron". . In the same year, at the Istiqlol Palace of Arts, the Surkhan group held its 10th anniversary concert entitled "Let the Brave Guys Play."

The group "Surkhan" is a regular participant in the national holidays of "Independence" and "Navruz", as well as national art events. The group’s repertoire includes songs in dozens of languages.

In April 2010, the band released their new MP3 album, The Girl with the Earrings.

In the first ten days of June 2010, they performed at the Days of Culture and Economy of Uzbekistan in Berlin, Straussburg and Giessen, Germany.

On the tenth day of September 2010, they demonstrated their art at the Independence Day of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. The group also performed concerts with Malaysian artists at the special invitation of the mayor of Kuala Lumpur.

In October 2010, the band released their new MP3 album, Shodiyona.

In March 2011, the band released their new CD album, "Come Half," as well as a collection of DVD clips.

Currently, the group program has about a hundred songs and many clips.
