How useful is it to learn English by watching movies?

English is a slightly more difficult language for us to learn. But even so, the types of learning are many and varied. One of the most effective of these methods is to learn English by watching movies, cartoons.

By listening to real English conversations when you watch a movie, cartoon or series, you will undoubtedly develop listening in you. You will also encounter new words, idioms, phrases. By memorizing them, your vocabulary will increase and you will know which sentences to use in which situations. By using these words and sentences in real life, you will grow speaking. So you can improve your Listening, Vocabulary, Speaking and partial grammar at the same time.
Once you start learning English, you need to surround yourself with an English atmosphere as much as possible. For example, every day when you come home from work or study, you spend at least 2-3 hours watching at least 2-3 series, movies, shows. What if at that time you spent your time watching series and movies in English? I can say with confidence that in 1 year you will feel a big change in yourself.
By following my recommendations, you will learn this language as your mother tongue.

What to do?

 Don’t watch English movies just for fun. As much as possible, aim to learn the language by watching that movie as well.

 Watch movies over and over again. Even if you have seen a movie before. Don’t say I’ve seen this movie and would have seen it if it was a boring new movie. It will be more effective when reviewed.

 Write new words. Keep a notebook of new words, phrases, and sentences you come across. Memorize those words and watch movies again with subtitles and then without subtitles if possible. Try to put into practice the words you write.

 After watching the movies, record your thoughts about the movie or the course of events briefly on a dictaphone. And listen in your spare time. Even if you tell yourself looking in the mirror, it has great benefits for self-confidence and speaking.

 See if you don't understand or if you're having trouble. Seeing it over and over again, over and over again, will cause you to gradually understand those words and adapt your ear to the English words.
