How much prize money will a student receive if he or she wins an international Olympiad?
According to the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (No. PP-4306), the winners of the International Olympiad and their teachers will be awarded a one-time cash prize:
- For the 1st place (gold medal) - 500 BHM for a student - 135 million soums, 450 BHM for a teacher - 121,5 million soums.
- For the 2nd place (silver medal) - 300 BHM for a student - 81 million soums, 250 BHM for a teacher - 67,5 million soums.
- For the 3rd place (bronze medal) - 200 BHM for a student - 54 million soums, 150 BHM for a teacher - 40,5 million soums.
Also, a student who wins the International Olympiad will be admitted to universities without exams.
