In what cases is the pension terminated?

Payment of the appointed pension is suspended in the following cases:

- when the pension is due;

- failure to receive a pension for more than three consecutive months (due to temporary absence from home or other reason);

- imprisonment of a pensioner (except for persons serving sentences in penal colonies);

- when the pensioner lives in boarding houses for mentally ill persons;

- when the pensioner applies for suspension of pension payments;

- in the event of a search for persons absconding from the bodies of inquiry, investigation and court, who refuse to serve a criminal sentence, in case of disappearance;

- failure of the person who issued the power of attorney to appear within the prescribed period to confirm his right to a pension.
