Khadija bint Huwaylid

Hadrat Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) was the first wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the first Muslim woman to believe and receive the title of “mother of believers”. Hazrat Khadija was an encouragement and supporter of our Prophet at the beginning of the Islamic call, and this helped to spread the call steadily. This woman is the mother of the children of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) Qasim, Abdullah (Tayyib or Tahir), Zaynab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthum and Fatima. His father was Huwaylid ibn Asad ibn Qusay ibn Abduluzza, and his mother was Fatima, the daughter of Zaida ibn Asam.
The full name of Asam is Jundub ibn Harm ibn Rawaha ibn Hajar ibn Abd ibn Mois ibn Amir ibn Liay ibn Ghalib ibn Fihr.
Hazrat Khadija was born in an honorable and benevolent family about 68 years before the migration and fifteen years before the Elephant incident. They were brought up from a young age with high and beautiful morals. Because of his politeness and intelligence, he was called "Tohira" (clean, pure).
His father, Huwaylid Fijor, died before the battle. Therefore, Amr ibn Asad, Khadijah's uncle, took over all the affairs of the family of the deceased.
First marriage
Years passed. Khadija grows up. Because of his honorable lineage and high morals, suitors came from many places. Khadijah married Abu Hala ibn Zurara from the tribe of Tamim, an ally of the sons of Qusay ibn Abduddar. They had two children, Aunt and Hind. In the days of ignorance, they were called "Umm Hind" (mother of Hind). The Indian lived a long life. They reached the blessed time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and became Muslims. He lived until the caliphate of Hadrat Ali (may God bless him and grant him peace). Jamal was martyred in the battle.
After the death of Abu Hala, Khadijah married 'Atiq ibn' A'iz Abdullah ibn 'Umar ibn Mahzum from the tribe of Mahzum. But this marriage between them did not last long.
After that, Khadija never remarried and became obsessed with raising children and running a business.
Trade trip
Khadija's capital was very large, and her business extended to Damascus. So he was looking for a trustworthy and honest man to lead the caravan. By this time, it had become known throughout Mecca that Abdullah al-Amin, the son of Abdullah, was an upright and trustworthy man.
Khadijah sent a slave named Maysara to Muhammad al-Amin's house with an offer to lead his trade caravan. Aminus faithfully agreed to the offer.
The caravan left for Damascus. Khadijah waited for them and stayed in Mecca.
One day Maysara ran to his master. Khadijah was overjoyed to see the caravan return safely. Maysara recounted that this time the trade was more prosperous than ever and that there were a number of surprises that occurred during the trip. Hearing the description of Muhammad al-Amin’s beautiful morals, Khadijah’s love for this man became even stronger.
Good life
Muhammad al-Amin had completely occupied Khadija’s mind. “Strange, I’m forty years old. Muhammad al-Amin is twenty-five years old. Will he agree to marry me? ' The question did not give Khadija any peace.
One day, her friend Nafisa bint Munya came to Khadija. When Nafisa found out about the question that was bothering her friend, she comforted her. The two sat talking for a long time. Nafisa left her friend and went straight to Muhammad al-Amin. After greeting him, he said:
"O Muhammad, what is preventing you from marrying?" He asked.
Muhammad ul-Amin:
"I don't have enough money for that," he said. Nafisa smiled and said quietly:
- If your need is met, will you respond to an offer from the state, from a smart woman who has beauty and honor?
Muhammad al-Amin:
- Who is she? They asked.
- Huwaylid's daughter Khadija…
"If he agrees, I'll take it."
Nafisa immediately set off. Muhammad flew like a bird to Khadija to say that al-Amini agreed to the good offer. Khadijah was overjoyed to hear this good news. The happiness that Allah Almighty bestowed on him, the pure dreams in his heart, gave alms to the poor for the gratitude of the answer.
Muhammad al-Amin's uncles Abu Talib, Hamza and Abbas went to the house of Khadijah bint Huwaylid as a suitor. In consultation with Khadijah’s uncle, Amr ibn Asad, they set a date for the wedding of Muhammad and Khadijah. This news reached the ears of all the people of Makkah. On the day of the wedding, Abu Talib spoke first and opened the ceremony:
"Praise be to Allah, Who has made us descendants of Abraham, descendants of Ishmael, and made us guardians of the House, rulers of the Sacred Haram, and judges of men." This is my nephew Muhammad ibn Abdullah. He is superior to all men in manners, virtue, and intellect. True, his "state" is small, but this is not a shortcoming. Wealth is like a shadow doomed to disappear with every breath, a deposit given on the condition of redemption. My nephew has an interest in Khadija bint Huwaylid. Khadija is of the same opinion about him.
After Abu Talib, Amr ibn Asad, Khadijah's uncle, spoke. He thanked and greeted Muhammad al-Amin and his family. He announced that he was happy to accept the marriage of his brother’s beloved daughter Khadija and Muhammad al-Amni. A dowry was set at the value of twenty camels. Tablets were set in the bride's house, sacrifices were slaughtered and distributed to the poor of Mecca. Thus, Khadijah bint Huwaylid became the wife of Muhammad al-Amin.
Khadijah was very happy to be married to the most beautiful and virtuous of the Quraysh young men.
We know that from this good marriage six children were born: Qasim, Zaynab, Ruqayya, Umm Gulsum, Fatima and Abdullah.
The first person to believe
Before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) received his prophethood, he used to stay away from life in Makkah for a month every year and pray in the cave of Hira. When they came down from the mountain, they circumambulated the Ka'bah and returned home.
One day Rasûlullah (sall-Allâhu 'alaihi wa sallam) came into the house trembling and said to Khadijah:
"Surround me, surround me," they said. When Khadija was asked what had happened, she said:
"O Khadija, I was afraid of myself," they said. And his beloved wife with confidence and trust:
- No, God will never shame you. Be patient, but this incident is good news. Because everyone knows that you are an honest and sincere person. I hope you will be a prophet to this ummah. Then, asking for advice, his cousins went to Waraqa ibn Nawfal. After hearing the details of the incident from the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him):
"Bless you, Muhammad." This is an honor for the pharaoh who fell to Moses (peace be upon him). Indeed, you have been the Prophet of this Ummah.
Upon hearing this good news, Khadija immediately believed. The first person to believe in Allah and His Messenger, and the first Muslim woman to confirm the verses of Allah, was Hadrat Khadijah bint Huwaylid. Hadrat Khadijah was also a woman who supported the Noble Messenger (pbuh) in the most difficult situations and who never left the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) in his troubled life.
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
He said, 'O Khadijah, Gabriel, the Lord of the worlds, greets you.' Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her):
"Peace be upon you." Peace be upon him, and peace be upon him, and peace be upon Gabriel. From that day on, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) began a new life full of blessings and hardships.
Recent months
Hadrat Khadijah (ra) fell seriously ill and lay down. They felt their death was imminent. Their daughters, Zaynab, Fatima and Umm Gulsum, were sitting on their heads. His fourth daughter, Ruqayya, was in Abyssinia.
Hadrat Khadijah looked at the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) for the last time. The eyes of the mother of the believers were full of longing and sorrow, of longing for separation. However, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) conveyed the good news to Khadijah to be with her in Paradise. (Hadid, 21).
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) shed tears of mercy. Their hearts were filled with deep sorrow. Zaynab, Umm Gulsum and Fatima also wept silently as they quarreled with the believing women who waited patiently for the rewards from Allah.
During the Meccan period, he said goodbye to his wife, Khadijah bint Huwaylid (Fajr, 27-30).
The deaths of Hadrat Khadijah and Abu Talib took place within a year. That is why the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) called this year the Year of Sorrow.
Hadrat Khadija (ra) died at the age of sixty-five, about three years before the migration. They were buried in Hajun Cemetery. The whole Quraysh mourned Hadrat Khadijah and Abu Talib. May Allah be pleased with our mother Khadija and may she be pleased with the blessings of the Hereafter.
Loyalty of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
The presence of Hazrat Khadija went to the divine. However, his memory remained in the hearts of the great family, in the hearts of all believers.
The images of Hadrat Khadijah (ra) never left the eyes of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Hadrat 'A'ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: I was not jealous of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) until I was jealous of Khadijah. However, I had not reached his time. But the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to remember him a lot.
During the lifetime of Hadrat Khadijah, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) never married another woman.
Hovla bint Hakim:
"You seem to feel lonely because of the absence of Khadijah bint Huwaylid, O Messenger of Allah!" When asked:
"By God, that's right." She was the master of my house, the mother of my children.
When Hawla bint Hakim proposed to another man, the Noble Messenger (saw) said:
"Who else can I marry but Khadija?"
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) would always remember Hadrat Khadijah and say, “When people denied me, she believed in me. When I was accused of lying, he expressed confidence. When people deprived me, he helped me with his wealth. Allah has given me children that I did not give to me from other women. When a sheep was slaughtered, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) would say to the Companions, 'Feed the friends of Khadijah.'
It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah ibn' Abbas that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) drew four lines on the ground and asked us:
"Do you know what it is?"
We said, "Allah and His Messenger know best."
He said, "The best women in the world are four: Maryam bint Imran, Pharaoh's wife Asiya bint Mazahim, Hadrat Khadijah bint Huwaylid, and Fatima bint Muhammad."
When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw one of the women who came to him during the lifetime of Hadrat Khadijah, he would open his face and rejoice. He used to say to the Companions, "Respect her, Khadijah loved her."
May Allah have mercy on our mother, Hazrat Khadija, a pious and noble woman who was a faithful wife to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Amen.
Taken from the book "Heroic believing women" (Tashkent, "Movarounnahr", 2005).
They were born and married to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
Khadijah bint Huwaylid ibn Abduluzza ibn Qusay Qarashiyya, Asadiyya was born in Mecca in a respectable family fifteen years before the "Elephant Story". She was one of the first daughters of the Quraysh (although in our lands she was called Khadijah, her real name was Khadijah). According to the tradition of that time, everything was necessary for Khadijah bint Huwaylid to bring up a noble girl. She was married at the age of fifteen.
The bride tried desperately to persuade her husband, Abu Hala ibn Zirara al-Tamimi, to take one of the highest ranks among the men of that time. Khadijah bint Huwaylid wanted her family to be the most prestigious in the country, and she wanted her husband to be the leader of the women. But all these attempts were in vain. Khadijah bint Huwaylid, no matter how hard she tried, could not achieve her goal. After the death of her husband Abu Hola, the young bride, who was on fire with the intention of making a glorious family, became a widow. Wise, virtuous women like Khadijah bint Huwaylid could not escape the attention of many. Atiq ibn 'Abid ibn' Abdullah al-Makhzumi, one of the nobles of Quraysh, appointed a suitor for Khadijah bint Huwaylid. The other side agreed. Khadijah bint Huwaylid also had a child with her second husband. But family affairs did not go as planned, and the family broke up. Nevertheless, Khadijah bint Huwaylid, without a husband, managed to become the most honorable woman among the women of Quraysh. At the age of twenty-five, she became the master of the women of the Quraysh. Allah had bestowed many good qualities on Khadijah bint Huwaylid. She was a generous, sensitive, broad-minded, religious, and pure woman. Khadijah bint Huwaylid was nicknamed "Tahira" among the Quraysh women. Khadijah bint Huwaylid had a cousin named Waraqa ibn Nawfal. He was aware of old religious books, knew a lot, and told people. Khadijah bint Huwaylid liked to talk to her cousin and when she heard about religion from Varaqa, her heart was filled with wonderful feelings. He had a dream one night. In his dream, a big sun fell on his yard and he settled down. He filled all sides of the courtyard with light and beauty, and the sun rose from this courtyard and shone everywhere. When he woke up frightened, it was a dream. Although it was a dark night, his heart was still bright with the light of the sun. In the morning, Khadijah bint Huwaylid went to her cousin Waraqa ibn Nawfal. He told his cousin his dream from head to toe. Waraqa ibn Nawfal listened intently to his cousin's daughter. He knew the interpretation of this dream and understood its significance even better. As soon as Khadijah bint Huwaylid had narrated her dream, joy filled Varaqa's body. She said with dignity and joy, “O cousin’s daughter! Give me a drink! If Allah brings your dream to the right, the light of prophethood will enter your courtyard! From there, the blessings of the end of the prophets began to flow! ” he said. Hearing these words from a noble man who was well acquainted with the heavenly books, Khadijah bint Huwaylid's whole body was filled with a wonderful feeling. He asked Waraqa about the Hatami of the Prophets and his attributes. He would absorb every word of the answers to his questions into his whole body. He lived under the influence of a dream he had seen since that day. The end of the prophets and his attributes never left his mind for a moment. He would ask Allah to make his dream come true. The light of prophethood shone from his yard. Probably for this reason, from the day he had that dream, he made a habit of questioning the qualities of the men who had put on him a suit. He compared the qualities of every man he wore to the qualities of the Prophet's wife, whom he had heard from Waraqa ibn Nawfal. He did not fit these qualities, he would apologize to the suitors. So days, weeks, months, years passed. The women of Quraysh used to gather in front of the Ka'bah. On one of those ceremonial days, Khadijah bint Huwaylid went to the harem. He circumambulated the byte. He prayed sincerely for a long time, asking Allah to grant his wishes. Then he went and sat down next to the women who were talking near the Ka'bah. At that moment a voice became the voice of the women who were speaking. A man shouted, "O women of Quraysh!" he shouted. The women stopped talking and looked at him. He continued, “O women of Quraysh! A prophet will come out of you soon! Whoever of you wants to be his wife, let him not miss the opportunity! ” he said. The women thought the man was crazy. Some threw stones at him. Others cursed. But Khadijah bint Huwaylid's heart sank. This man's words were added to what he knew about the Prophet's death. It was as if he felt that the happy moments he had been waiting for were approaching. Ibn Sayyidinnas (may Allaah have mercy on him) narrates in his book Uyuunul asar fii fununil maghazi vash shamail wasdiyar: , I am a man without wealth. Times have been difficult for us. Hard years have come to us. And we have nothing and no business. It was time for the caravan of your people to go to Damascus. Khadijah bint Huwaylid sent the men of the tribe with her caravan. They come to do his business and make a profit for themselves. It would be nice if you could go and offer him your service. He would gladly agree. He must have been informed of your purity. In fact, I am against your going to Damascus. I'm afraid the Jews will do something to you.
Khadijah bint Huwaylid was an honorable, wealthy and virtuous woman. He would send his caravan to Damascus. If his trade was a caravan, the trade of the rest of the Quraysh would also be a caravan. Khadijah bint Huwaylid used to hire men for her business and give them goods through muzarabah. The Quraysh were merchants. Whoever didn’t have a business would have nothing.
Then he said:
He said, "Perhaps he will send for me." Upon hearing this, Abu Talib said:
"I'm afraid someone else will take you," he said.
The matter between the two reached Khadijah bint Huwaylid. Earlier, the news of his honesty, trustworthiness and kindness had also reached him.
Khadijah bint Huwaylid heard this:
He said, "I did not know what he wanted." He sent for him.
“Your honesty, trustworthiness and kindness were the reason I sent someone forward. I will give you twice as much as you give to the people of your people. '
He agreed and went to Abu Talib and informed him. Then he said:
He said, "This is what Allah has sent down to you."
So he set out with Maysara, a slave of Khadijah bint Huwaylid, and went to Damascus. His uncles had instructed the caravan to be careful of him. When they reached Damascus, the two sat down under a tree near the temple of a monk named Nesturo. The monk was acquainted with Maysara. He said to the slave:
“O Maysara! Who is the man under the tree? ” he said.
"The Quraysh are a man from the haram," said Maysara.
“This is the prophet under the tree. Is there redness in his eyes? ” said the monk.
“Yes, it won’t go away,” Maysara said.
"It's the same. He is the last of the prophets. I wish I was with him when he was ordered to leave. '
Maysara was very surprised to hear this.
Then the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went to Busra market. They sold what they brought. They bought what they needed. He was talking about a trade between God and a man. The man:
"I swear by Lot and Uzza!" he said.
Then he said:
“I never swore by these two. I am gone. ”They turned away.
"It's your word," said the man, looking at Maysara.
“O Maysara! This is a Prophet! Our monks found his qualities in their books! ” he said.
Maysara was also very impressed by this statement.
Then everyone in the caravan went back.
Maysara saw two angels casting shadows on the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) who was riding a camel when the sun was hot. Allah had put His love in Maysara's heart. He behaved like a slave of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). They did their business and made twice as much profit as usual. When they reached Marriz-zahran on the way back, Maysara said:
He said, "I will go ahead and inform Khadijah of what you have given her because of you."
Khadija's servant Maysara, who had come from that business trip, told her master what she had seen. Then Khadijah bint Huwaylid Muhammad, a sharp-witted man, realized that Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was not an ordinary person. Khadijah was captivated by his righteousness, loyalty, honesty, blessings and other qualities.
On top of that, his servant Maysara recounted the incredible things he had seen from Muhammad Mustafa sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam during the journey.
Khadijah bint Huwaylid narrated to Waraqa ibn Nawfal that she had heard from Maysara.
“If this is true, then Muhammad is the Messenger of this Ummah. I knew it would happen. "
Khadijah, who had returned the suitors of many of the rulers of Makkah, then intended to marry Muhammad Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Ibn Sa'd (may Allaah have mercy on him) narrated from Nafisa bint Munayya in his book Tabaqat:
“Khadijah bint Huwaylid was a determined, strong, honorable woman. Allah had also given him cabbage and blessings. She was at that time the most noble and honorable woman of the Quraysh. All of his people sought to marry him if they could. They had put suitors on him and spent property.
Khadijah bint Huwaylid sent me to Muhammad one day after he had returned from Damascus with his caravan. I went:
"O Muhammad, what prevents you from marrying?" I said.
“I don’t have anything on hand to get married,” he said.
"Wouldn't it be nice if you were content with that and were invited to beauty, wealth, honor, and your peers?" I said.
"Who is he?" he said.
"Khadija," I said.
"How can I do this?" he said.
I said, "Leave this oil to me."
So I went and delivered the message. Khadijah bint Huwaylid sent a man to him and told him to come at a certain time. He also sent for his uncle 'Amr ibn Asad. She was ready for her niece’s wedding.
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also entered with his uncles. One of them married the man. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was twenty-five years old when he married her. Khadija was forty years old in those days. He was born fifteen years before The Elephant Story. "
Many of the elders of Bani Hashim were present at the house of Khadijah bint Huwaylid that day.
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was accompanied by his uncles Abu Talib, Hamza and Abbas, and his brothers Abu Bakr, Ammar ibn Yasir and others.
Khadijah bint Huwaylid had her cousin Waraqa ibn Nawfal, her brother's son Hakim ibn Hizam and others.
Along with the men, there were several women, including Sofia bint Abdulmuttalib and Atika bint Abdulmuttalib.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu'l-Abbas al-Mubarrad and other historians that, according to the custom of the time, Abu Talib delivered a sermon when the time was right and said:
“Praise be to Allah, Who has made us from the seed of Abraham, from the seed of Ishmael, from the origin of Mad, from the element of Muzar.
He has made us the treasurer of His house, the politician of the harem.
He gave us a hijab with a hijab, a safe harem, and made us rulers over the people.
But then my brother's son, Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah, will be judged by whomever he is, and he will be superior to others in goodness, grace, honor, intelligence and greatness.
If the property is small, of course, the property is something transient, like a shadow, a barrier, a debt to be repaid.
You know Muhammad's caribbean very well. He gave a gift to Khadijah bint Huwaylid. The next day and night I gave him twelve and a half ounces of gold. I swear by Allah, from now on, his work will be great and his honor will be great. ”
After Abu Talib had finished his sermon, Waraqa ibn Nawfal said:
“Praise be to Allah, Who has made us as you say, better than you have enumerated. We are the greats and leaders of the Arabs. You are ignorant of those things. No seed will deny your grace. None of the people will deny your pride and honor. We encourage you to tie your rope and honor.
O people of Quraysh, bear witness to me that I married Khadijah bint Huwaylid to Muhammad ibn Abdullah with a dowry of four hundred dinars. ”He remained silent.
Then Abu Talib said:
He said, "I would like the bride's uncle to be with you."
Then Khadijah bint Huwaylid's uncle said:
He said, "Bear witness to me, O people of Quraysh, that I married Khadijah bint Huwaylid to Muhammad ibn Abdullah."
The great men of Quraysh witnessed this. "
Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) slaughtered camels on the day of the wedding and distributed food to the people.
According to the author of Al-Siyra al-Halabiyya:
“On that day, the followers of Khadijah bint Huwaylid also played duff (circle). Tell that man to his wife, to your uncle, to kill the camel, to feed the people. Then he said, "Come to your family." The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did as he was told and went to his family.
Abu Talib was very happy with this marriage and said:
He said, "Praise be to Allah, Who has removed grief from us and averted sorrow."
This was the first wedding of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Conversion to Islam
After the wedding, a happy family life began. Everything was worthy of each other. There were other people in the residence besides the husband and wife. Khadijah bint Huwaylid had a son named Hind from her ex-husband. He always subdued the Hindu with his good treatment. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) himself had brought his slave Umm Ayman with him to his new place of residence. The original name of this maid was Baraka Abyssinia.
He began to live better in the new place than before. There was also a slave named Zayd ibn Haritha who, when he and his mother went to visit their uncles in the Tay tribe, was captured by one of the Arab tribes and taken to Mecca. Zayd was also very well received. Khadijah bint Huwaylid loved and respected her husband very much. This love and respect grew stronger and stronger day by day. He was constantly trying to provide everything necessary for the peace and comfort of his husbands. This shrewd and intelligent woman was ready for anything for her future husband, who was expected to do great things. She was always ready to give up her pleasures, privileges, possessions, and possessions in the way of her husband's happiness, and to spend them for her husband. One day the couple was having a heart-to-heart conversation. Suddenly, the maid of Khadijah bint Huwaylid came and said, “Lady, Halima bint Abdullah ibn Harith as-Sa'diya came. He wants to enter your presence. " The hearts of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) were filled with joy when they heard the names of Halima Saadiya. They were happy to see their breastfeeding mothers who had raised them by breastfeeding. Khadijah bint Huwaylid knew that her husband always spoke of this guest woman with respect and dignity. She greeted her husband's nursing mother. When the two women entered, he said, “Mother! Onajon! ” they came out. They put on their robes and carried Halimai Sa'di on them. He was very happy. Joy shone on their faces, their eyes, their whole bodies. When they saw him, they began to ask him for condolences, and the woman's face became serious. His own tribe complained that drought was prevailing in the lands of Bani Sa'd, making life difficult. He complained of poverty and helplessness. When these words became known to Khadijah bint Huwaylid, he did not think long and began to please the guest. He gave him forty sheep, a camel, and whatever he could get his hands on. Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) gladly handed over these gifts from his generous and kind women to his nursing mothers. Over time, the family's unity and happiness grew stronger. When Khadijah bint Huwaylid became pregnant, everyone was overjoyed. He was preceded in death by his first son, Qasim. Then she became pregnant again. Another son was born. They rejoiced again. They named him "Abdullah." But this child did not live long either. Khadijah bint Huwaylid had a daughter. The couple named this little guest "Zaynab" with happy eyes.
Zaynab became a sister when she was one year old. The happy parents named their second daughter Ruqayya. The children brought endless happiness, joy and blessings to the family.
Later a third daughter was born - Umm Kulsum.
Allah finally gave this wonderful family a fourth youngest daughter. Istarali's parents named her "Fatima".
According to the wisdom known only to Allah, their sons did not stand. But in the society of that time, the boy had a special place. Therefore, this intelligent lady took all possible measures to win the heart of her husband and tried to alleviate the grievances of her husband, Muhammad ibn Abdullah, in this regard. Thoughtfully, he was convinced that there could be no better gift than Zayd, his most beloved slave, and gave it as a gift to his wife. Thus Zayd passed into the hands of Muhammad ibn Abdullah.
Zayd's new master was a very good man. It was absolutely unlike any other master. Even when Zayd's father and uncle came and tried to take him away, he chose to stay with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah took Zayd by the hand and led him to the House. He went straight to the Ka'bah and stood in Ishmael's hijrah.
“Witness! Zayd is my son. I am his heir, and he is my heir. '
Seeing how honored Zayd was in his presence, his father and uncles were relieved and returned.
From then on, Zayd ibn Haritha was called Zayd ibn Muhammad.
Abu Talib, the uncle of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), led the Quraysh with his intellect, not with his wealth. Although he was the leader of a tribe as large and prestigious as the Quraysh, he himself lived in poverty.
Abu Talib’s poverty became apparent, especially when the famine began in Mecca. She was left to fend for herself, her children, and her family. Then his relatives came to his aid.
He invited his other uncles to share some of Abu Talib's children. He left the mind to Abu Talib, and Ja'far was taken by Abbas and Ali by him. Thus, Ali's cousin Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and his wife Khadijah bint Huwaylid began to live under his care. Ali was only six years old at the time.
Thus, this family, which longed for a son, became a son because of Zayd and Ali.
Fifteen years after their marriage, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) wanted to be alone when he was 40 years old. They entered the cave of Hiro in one of the mountains around Mecca and prayed "tahannus" for several days. That is, they were left alone and thought about the affairs of the world, the elimination of the evils in it, the revelation of truth, justice, and other virtues. Sometimes they would come home just for food or bring it from home.
This, too, was a preparation by Allah for His prophethood.
It is narrated on the authority of Imam Bukhari that 'A'isha said:
“The first sign that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) gave was a true dream in his sleep. No matter what they dreamed, He would come to them just as brightly as the dawn. Then he fell in love with Him alone. He used to pray tahannus for several nights before going down to his family in the cave of Hiro. That is, they would spend a few nights in prayer before returning to their families. For this, his son Rachel was a giant. Then they would go back to Khadija and get Rachel. That was until the truth came to him. While they were in the cave of Hiro, an angel came:
"Read!" he said.
“I’m not a student,” he said.
He grabbed Him and pulled her to him. It even caused trouble. Then he let go and said:
"Read!" he said.
“I’m not a student,” he said.
He grabbed him a second time and pulled him to him. Then he let go and said:
"Read! In the name of the Lord who created. He created man from weeds. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous. ' he said.
So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) returned with trembling hearts and went to Khadijah bint Huwaylid and said:
“Surround me! Surround me! ” they said.
So they surrounded him until he feared Him. Then he told Khadijah:
He said, "I was afraid something would have happened to me."
Then Khadijah said, “It is not so! By Allah, Allah will never shame you. Surely, you are merciful. You help the weak. You do good things that people don’t do. You give a reception to the guest. You will help those in need. "
Then he took him and went to Waraqa ibn Nawfal ibn Asad ibn Abduluzza (son of Khadija's uncle). He was a man who converted to Christianity in the age of ignorance. He was writing a Hebrew book. He would write from the Bible in Hebrew what God wanted him to write. He was an old man who was blind. Khadija:
“My cousin! Listen to your nephew! ' he said. Letter to God:
"My nephew, what do you see?" he said.
Then he told them the news of what they had seen.
The letter said to him, "This is the honor that Allah sent down to Moses." If only I were strong when your people drove you out! I wish I were alive! ”
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'Will they expel me?' they said.
"Yes! Whoever brings what you bring will face hostility. If I reach that day, I will do my best to help you. "
At the same time, Allah, Who created mankind with His own hands and sent prophets, sent down books and brought them up in spite of all their stubbornness, whims and mistakes from infancy, after the next and greatest error of mankind, the time had come when he wanted to send the last prophet, to download the last Book, and to introduce his latest, perfect, and permanent law.
Then the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said in the cave of Hira, 'Iqra' !!! (Read !!!) they heard a thunderous voice.
That voice was the first verse of the Qur'an, the first ray of the unquenchable light sent down by Allah to break the darkness of ignorance.
At that time, at the most delicate time in the history of mankind, the only person who entered into his soul was his wife, Khadijah bint Huwaylid.
Khadijah bint Huwaylid was also the one who suppressed the fears of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
He reminded the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) of his high qualities and said, “Allaah will never shame you, for you will have mercy on the weak, help the weak, do good deeds that people do not do, entertain guests, and help those in distress.
Khadijah bint Huwaylid was the one who took him to Waraqa ibn Nawfal and told him that they were the Prophets of the end times.
Khadijah bint Huwaylid was the one who created enough conditions for the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to receive the message from heaven.
Khadijah bint Huwaylid was the one who greeted the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in the cave of Hira with complete confidence, firm faith and peace of mind.
Khadijah bint Huwaylid was the first to convert to Islam. He was not only the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) but also the man who had the honor of believing in Allaah and His Messenger for the first time.
All our scholars agreed that he was the first Muslim.
Izziddin ibn Asir said: “It is the Muslim community that Khadija is the first Muslim among the people of Allah. There is no man or woman who can surpass him. ”
Imam Bayhaqi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
He said, "The first of this Ummah to become a Muslim was Khadijah bint Huwaylid."
Ibn Ishaq (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
“Khadijah was the first to believe in Allah and His Messenger, she confirmed what Allah had brought from Allahu ta'âlâ, and she was the minister of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allâhu ta'âlâ be upon him). In this way, Allah facilitated the work of His Messenger. Whenever he heard a rejection or a lie that he did not like, he would be relieved, and Khadijah bint Huwaylid would remove that grief. When they returned to him, he would call for sabotage. He would lighten his weight. They were affirming their religion. It made people's actions insignificant. ”
At the same time, Khadijah bint Huwaylid made great contributions to the path of Islam. First of all, he did everything in his power to turn his home from a world of disbelief and polytheism into an oasis of faith.
It is not surprising that these attempts were among the factors that made Zayd ibn Haritha and Ali ibn Abu Talib the first to believe.
It was these attempts that led the family’s four daughters, Zaynab, Ruqayya, Umm Kulsum, and Fatima, to follow their mothers and believe in their fathers.
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Ishaq that 'A'isha said:
"When Allah honored His Prophet with prophethood, Khadijah and her daughters came to Islam."
According to another narration, “Ruqayyah's mother Khadijah converted to Islam when she converted to Islam, and she also pledged allegiance when women pledged allegiance. When her sisters converted to Islam, Umm Kulthum also converted to Islam, and when they pledged allegiance, she also pledged allegiance.
In all of this, Khadijah bint Huwaylid had her due contribution. He was serving the religion of Allah with unparalleled sincerity.
At that time, Allah also made it obligatory to pray.
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Ishaq that
“When prayer was made obligatory on the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), Gabriel came to him while he was standing above Makkah. He had kicked the ground on one side of the valley with his heel, and the water gushed out. So Gabriel performed ablution. He showed me how to perform ablution for prayer. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) stared. Then the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) performed ablution as he had seen from Gabriel. Then Gabriel stood up and prayed to Him. He followed the prayer of Gabriel. Then Gabriel went back.
So the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came to Khadijah bint Huwaylid and performed ablution as Gabriel had shown them and showed him how to purify himself for prayer. He also performed ablution as the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) showed. Then he prayed with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) as he had prayed with Gabriel.
Thus, Khadijah bint Huwaylid, who was the first of the Islamic Ummah to have the opportunity to believe, also had the honor of being the first of the Islamic Ummah to pray.
According to the narration in the book Uyuunul Asar, Afif al-Kindi says:
“We had a friendship with Abbas ibn Abdulmuttalib. He used to come to Yama and buy perfume. He would then sell it on season days.
I was standing in Mina with Abbas. A fluffy man came and performed ablution. He cleaned himself thoroughly. Then he stood up and prayed. Then a woman came out and performed ablution. He also stood up and prayed. Then the boy, who was about to grow up, performed ablution and stood next to him and began to pray. I:
“Woe to you, Abbas! What kind of religion is this? ' I said.
“This is the religion of my nephew Muhammad ibn Abdullah. He claims that Allah sent him as a Messenger. This is my brother's son Ali ibn Abu Talib. He said, "Khadijah, his wife, she followed her husband's religion."
At that time, prayer seemed as strange to the people as it was to Afif. People had never seen a prayer like this at all. When they saw the prayer, they were amazed. It is an honor for Khadijah bint Huwaylid to start praying at that time.
When the time came, Allahu ta'âlâ said to Muhammad Mustafa sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam:
“And warn your close relatives. And lower your wing to the believers who follow you. "
It was after this that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) began to call his close relatives, and then he continued to call others.
Because Allah said to the last Prophet:
“O you who are covered! Get up and warn! ” he shouted.
It was a divine call, a very moving call. It was news that it was time to go to bed, rest, get up, move, get people on the right track, to overcome the many challenges they face in this work.
This command was made to guide people in the way of Allah. That is why our mother Khadijah said to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, "Sleep for a while."
They would say, "O Khadijah, the time for sleep has passed."
Of course, our mother Khadijah always supported the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in these matters.
As the call to Islam was exposed, so was the hostility of the disbelievers. The polytheists had directed the main blow at the caller and his family.
They would not back down from any humiliation in this regard. Of course, our mother Khadijah was with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in overcoming such enmity.
At that time, Abu Lahab, who had taken the two daughters of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), Ruqayyah and Umm Kulthum, to his two sons, Utbah and Utaybah, had divorced his daughters-in-law in order to harm Islam. They thought that if Muhammad was bothered with his daughters, his religion would be futuristic.
Utbah ibn Abu Lahab divorced Ruqayyah without living together. Utayba also divorced Umm Kulthum.
Of course, for any mother, the sudden divorce of her two daughters is a great tragedy. There is no great pain, especially when innocent girls are divorced in a hostile way.
But our mother Khadija, who fully understood that these calamities were happening on the path of religion, was able to endure beautifully. His patience was as strong as the mountains of servitude.
'Uthman ibn' Affan asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about the honesty of his wife, Ruqayyah. He agreed.
The oppression of the disbelievers has become unbearable. 'Uthman ibn' Affan and his wife complained to Ruqayyah about the difficulty. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) advised them to emigrate to Abyssinia after a period of rest.
The recently formed family of 'Uthman ibn' Affan and Ruqayyah began to prepare to leave their homeland and emigrate for the sake of religion, for the sake of Allah and for the sake of Islam. Finally, the newlyweds became the first of the immigrants.
What mother wants her daughter to emigrate to distant lands, to unfamiliar places? Of course, our mother Khadija also wanted her daughters to be in front of her. But they also persevered in the way of religion.
Then even more difficult days began. The disbelievers of Quraysh came to kill the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). In order to carry out these evil intentions, he asked the descendants of Bani Hashim and Bani Muttalib to agree with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and hand him over to them.
Bani Hashim and Bani Muttalib refused this request.
It was then that the polytheists allied themselves with Muhammad Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and the Muslims, as well as the Bani Hashim and the Bani Muttalib. They agreed not to trade with them, not to make peace, not to take a girl, not to have any contact with them. In order to increase the power of this covenant and to emphasize it strongly, it was written down and hung inside the Kaaba Muazzama.
The beginning of this work was in the month of Muharram, the seventh year of the prophecy. After the Quraysh proclaimed the siege and severed ties in this way, Muhammad Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the Muslims and the members of the Bani Hashim and Bani Muttalib clans were besieged in the Bani Muttalib Gorge.
The besieged faced unprecedented hardships. When a caravan of merchants came to Mecca, if one of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went to buy something for his children, no one would sell him anything.
Abu Jahl and others like him used to say to the merchants, raise the price so that the Muslims do not buy anything.
The besiegers were forced to eat the roots and leaves of the trees.
So days, weeks, and months went by. The condition of the prisoners was getting worse. The pressure of the Quraysh was growing. There was no relief. This went on for three years.
Khadijah bint Huwaylid, along with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and other Muslims, suffered the siege more than anyone else. He used to help the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in all his affairs, despite the siege.
As soon as the siege was over, our mother Khadija fell ill. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) looked at him with a smile. But they were getting heavier by the day.
At that time, it was ten years since the prophethood of Muhammad Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came, and it was a very delicate time for Islam. There were times when it would be a great joy to Muslims, even if any person showed a little inclination. At that time, Khadijah bint Huwaylid, the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and the mother of the believers, who had been helping the Muslims since the first day of Islam, died at the age of sixty-five.
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was left alone with his orphaned children in his home, having lost one of his chief advisers, a man of great faith, who was the first to believe and whose virtues could not be enumerated. This was a heavy loss for the Islamic community led by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) placed Khadijah bint Huwaylid with his own hands in the Hajun cemetery at the top of Makkah Mukarramah.
Abu Talib, the uncle of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), also died that year. Even though he was not a Muslim, the man who had been protecting Muhammad Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) from the constant attacks of the disbelievers had passed away. This loss was a great tragedy.
Because of these two great calamities, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) called that year the Year of Sorrow.
She loved and valued our mother Khadija very much. It is difficult to express in words the great respect and esteem she has for our mother Khadija. It is better to refer to the hadiths that have been narrated from him about this.
It is narrated on the authority of 'A'isha that:
“I did not envy the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) from his wives. I was only jealous of Khadija. I didn't even see him. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to say, 'When you slaughter a sheep, send it to Khadijah's friends.' One day he vented his wrath:
"Khadija!" I said.
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
He said, "Surely I have been given his love."
In another narration:
"Sometimes he says to God:
"It's as if there's no one in the world but Khadija," I said.
He would say, "He was like that, he was like that, my children were from him."
In another narration:
“I was not jealous of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) as I was jealous of Khadijah about any of his wives. This jealousy is due to the fact that he is mentioned a lot. I never saw him. She died three years before they married me. ”
Narrated by two sheikhs and al-Tirmidhi.
From this hadith, the virtues of our mother Khadija are clearly shown. Aisha was not jealous of the other wives of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) because they were not superior to him.
As for Khadijah bint Huwaylid, when the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) slaughtered a sheep, he would say, 'Send it to Khadijah's friends.' In this way, out of respect for our mother Khadijah, they respected her relatives. This is something that really makes you jealous.
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to visit his friends at other times out of respect for Khadijah bint Huwaylid.
It is narrated on the authority of Anas that
“When the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was given something, take it to the house of Fulona. He was a friend of Khadijah. "
It is narrated on the authority of 'A'isha that Imam al-Hakim said:
“An old woman came to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) while he was with me. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him, 'Who are you?' they said.
“I’m Jassoma Muzania,” he said.
"No. You are Hassoni Muzaniyas! How are you? How are you? What have you done after us? ” they said.
"We are fine! May my parents be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah! ” he said.
When he left, he said, "O Messenger of Allah, did you respect an old woman so much?" I said.
“He used to come to us in Khadija’s time. He said, "Keeping the old verse beautiful is a matter of faith."
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said about our mother Khadija:
It is a great thing to say, "Surely I have been given his love." From this it is clear that Allah Almighty put the love of our mother Khadija in the hearts of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). So, the pure love of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) for our mother Khadija is the love of divine grace.
Another reason for the love and respect of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) for our mother Khadija is most evident in his words: “My children were from her”. Indeed, according to the wisdom known only to Allah Almighty, all of His children were from our mother Khadija. He had no children from his wives other than the man. This, of course, adds a phase to the phases of our mother Khadija.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayra that Gabriel came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said:
“O Messenger of Allah! Here is Khadija coming to you. I have a container with him. It has food or food or wine. When he comes to you, greet him with the greetings of his Lord, the Exalted and the Exalted, and from me, and give him the prophecy of a house in Paradise lined with rubies, adorned with pearls, and no noise or fatigue. "
Narrated by two sheikhs and al-Tirmidhi.
In this hadith, first of all, we see an example of the great service of our mother Khadija to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). He was serving the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sincerely, carrying food behind him and walking a certain distance. What woman, with her reputation as a mother, her place in society, and her immense wealth, walks among the rocks carrying food behind her husband? Of course, this is due to the fact that he considers it his duty to serve his spouses, and his intentions to gain Allah's approval through this service are strong.
We see from this hadith that Allah rewarded our mother Khadija according to her intentions. It is a great thing that Gabriel informed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) of the coming of Khadijah bint Huwaylid. This indicates that he is walking under divine grace and presumption.
Gabriel said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about Khadijah bint Huwaylid (may Allaah be pleased with her): “When he comes to you, greet him from his Lord, the Exalted, and from me. Give him the prophecy of a house in Paradise lined with sapphires, adorned with lu'lu, without any noise or fatigue. '
It is narrated on the authority of Ali that:
“The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: The best of the women of the world is Maryam bint Imran. The best woman in the world is Khadijah bint Huwaylid. "
All three were narrated by two sheikhs and al-Tirmidhi.
From this hadith, we learn that Maryam bint Imran was the most preferred woman in her time, and similarly, Khadijah bint Huwaylid was the most preferred woman in her time.
It is narrated on the authority of 'A'isha that:
“Hala bint Huwaylid, Khadijah’s sister, asked permission to enter the presence of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). He rejoiced, remembering that Khadijah had asked his permission.
He said, "O Allah, if it were Hala bint Huwaylid."
I was jealous and said, “Do you remember one of the red-cheeked old women of the Quraysh ?! It has been a long time since he died. God has given you something better than it! ” I said. "
Narrated by two sheikhs.
From this hadith, we learn that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) remembered our mother Khadijah with reverence for a moment. When his sisters Hola bint Huwaylid heard his voice when he asked permission to enter his presence, he recognized a voice similar to that of our mother Khadijah:
He said, "O Allah, if it were Hala bint Huwaylid."
It is not difficult to see how much they respect our mother Khadijah from the fact that a voice similar to that of Khadijah bint Huwaylid excited the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Among the polytheists captured in the Battle of Badr was Abul Oss, the son-in-law of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and the husband of his daughter Zaynab. Although she did not live with him because she was not a Muslim, she was not completely divorced.
After the order was given that the captives could be released by their relatives with compensation, the people began to free their loved ones.
Abul Oss's brother also brought a bag and handed it to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said that it was his brother's payment. He opened the bag and saw the jewelry of his daughter Zaynab. Zaynab had sent her jewelry to free her husband Abul Oss. There was also a bead in the jewelry. It was given to Zaynab by her mother Khadijah bint Huwaylid on her wedding day.
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was stunned when he saw the bead. Sensing this, the Companions also remained silent and looked at each other. He said, "If you want to release his captive and return his bead, do so." The Companions agreed.
On the day of the conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came to the grave of our mother Khadijah and watched her.
In another narration, 'A'isha says:
“When the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) mentioned Khadijah, he used to praise her and never tire of apologizing to her. One day he remembered her again. I was jealous:
I said, "Allah has given you something better than that old woman." So I saw that he was very angry. My mind flew out of my head. I said to myself, "O Allah, if you remove the wrath of your Messenger from me, I will never mention him badly."
When they saw me, he said, "What did you say?" By Allah, Allah did not give me anything better than him instead. When people disbelieved me, he believed me. When people lied to me, he confirmed me. When people hid their belongings from me, he spent his wealth for me. He said, "Allah has given me children from other women, not from other women."
It is narrated on the authority of Anas that:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Maryam bint Imran, Khadijah bint Huwaylid, Fatima bint Muhammad and Pharaoh's wife Asia are enough for you from the wives of the world.
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, al-Nasa'i, and al-Hakim.
That is, the women whose names are mentioned are enough to be virtuous.
There is a lot of evidence and proof that Khadijah bint Huwaylid was one of the most mature women of her time.
May Allah be pleased with Khadijah bint Huwaylid! Amen!

Khadijah bint Huwaylid, who lived in the lands of Mecca, had a dream one day. The great sun had set in the courtyard, and it was settled, and covered all sides with light and beauty.
When he woke up, he saw that it was a dream. In the darkness of the night, Khadija's heart remained clear. How wonderful was this dream. It was the beginning of countless good news for him. The next morning he went to his cousin Waraqa ibn Nawfalniki, who was aware of the old religions and knew a lot, and asked him to interpret his dream. “Give me joy, my cousin's daughter! If the Creator brings your dream to the right, the light of prophethood will enter your yard! ” she explains to Khadija. This dream will one day come true, and in ignorance, this figure, nicknamed "Tohira" ("Pure"), will be honored by Islam as "Khadija Kubro".
Hazrat Khadija was one of the first!
The first married woman of the universe (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam), the first ummah to be honored with faith, was the first to pray behind the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Khadijah was the first to hear the word of the Qur'an from the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) who returned from the cave of Hira with the first revelation. Allah sent a special greeting to him through the angel Gabriel. Hazrat Khadija, the first woman, the mother of the believers, was the first woman to be able to comfort and console the people when they faced opposition, humiliation, and sadness, and to dedicate their wealth and lives to Islam.
Our mother Khadijah bint Huwaylid ibn Abduluzza ibn Qusay Qurashiyya Asadiyya was born in Mecca fifteen years before the "Elephant incident" in a respectable family of the original Arab people, the Quraysh. His father's name was Huwaylid and his mother was Fatima. His father's lineage is united with the lineage of the Prophet in Qusay. On the mother's side, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was reunited with his great-grandfather in Luay.
It is narrated from Ibn Ishaq that Hazrat Khadijah was a wealthy, respectable woman who was engaged in business. He would hire men from his people and send a caravan of traders to Damascus. When he became aware that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was truthful, virtuous, and trustworthy, he handed over the caravan to him on the condition that he pay him twice his service. On a business trip, Khadija's slave Maysara witnessed strange events along the way. The caravan also returns with much better profits than other trips. Upon hearing the stories from Maysara, Khadija, who understood Muhammad’s virtues, became more interested and in love with him, and offered to marry him. The future prophet accepts this offer.
The wisdom of Khadija’s possessions, as well as her spirituality, personality, and wealth, was known in advance. Khadija, who has good morals "On great virtues"gi (Pen, 4) It was created for the Noble Messenger. Allah, glory unto Him, bestowed upon Khadijah her material and spiritual wealth for the support of Islam, and destined her to be a companion, companion, and companion in the difficult path of the Messenger of Allah, upon him be peace and blessings. Mubarak lifted his heart with a smiling face and kind words. Qasim, Zaynab, Umm Kulthum, Ruqiya, Fatima and Abdullah (ra) were the blessed mothers who bestowed gifts on the Lord of the worlds. The beloved Prophet loved Khadijah for the rest of his life, was grateful to her, respected her memory, and never forgot her.
All the scholars agreed that Khadijah bint Huwaylid was the first of the Muslims. Izzuddin ibn Asir said: “All Muslims agree that Khadijah was the first of the servants of Allah to believe. There is no man or woman who can surpass him. ”
Hazrat Khadija has made great contributions to the path of Islam. First of all, he was able to turn his home into a corner of faith. It is not surprising that these efforts contributed to Zayd ibn Haritha and Ali ibn Abu Talib being the first to believe. It was these efforts that led her four daughters, Zaynab, Ruqiya, Umm Kulsum and Fatima, to follow their mother and become believers. Ibn Ishaq (may Allaah have mercy on him) narrated from Aisha (may Allaah be pleased with her) that Khadijah and her daughters came to Islam when Allaah honored His Prophet with prophethood.
Afif Kindi narrates in Uyun al-Asar: “We had a friendship with Abbas ibn Abdulmuttalib. He would come to Yama and buy perfume and sell it on season days. I was standing in Mina with Abbas. A fluffy man came and performed ablution. Then he got up and prayed. Then a woman came out and performed ablution. He also stood up and prayed. Then the boy, who was about to grow up, went out, performed ablution, and stood beside him and began to pray. I said, 'Let the salt dry, O Abbas! What kind of religion is this? ” I said. “This is the religion of my nephew Muhammad ibn Abdullah. He claims that Allah sent him as a Messenger. "
At a time when prayer seemed strange to Afif, Khadijah was a noble woman who began to pray.
In the most difficult days of the transition to the open spread of Islam, Muslims patiently hoped for the mercy of Allah. Our mother Khadija was one of the first to endure. Abu Lahab divorced Ruqayyah and Umm Kulthum, the two daughters of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), whom he had taken as brides to harm Islam, to his sons Utbah and Utaybah. During these tribulations, Hazrat Khadija tried to be strong and was able to be an ointment to the sufferings of a loving father.
In the seventh year of the Prophethood, the Muslims were besieged in the Bani Muttalib Gorge. In these miserable days, which lasted for three years, the Muslims, fed on the roots and leaves of the trees, became exhausted. The siege ends, but… The beloved wives of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), who had been blessed with a happy family for nearly twenty-six years, fell ill. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was saddened by the fact that Khadijah fell ill on such a difficult day, when her uncle Abu Talib had not yet died and the pressure of the polytheists had intensified. Khadija, who is over sixty-five years old, passed away in the month of Ramadan, the tenth year of her prophethood. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) buried our beloved mother with his own hands in the Hajun Cemetery at the top of Makkah.
These losses came hard on our Prophet. His face was sad. Grief burns hearts. That year, as the "Year of Sorrow", was immortalized in the history of Islam.
The perfect of the Prophets (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) spent thirty-eight years of their married life, twenty-six years, alone with Hazrat Khadija, who did not want to mix love with love. However, Khadijah was fifteen years older than the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
It is narrated on the authority of 'A'isha that I said: I did not envy the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) for his wives except for Khadijah. Of course, I haven’t seen him. Whenever the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) slaughtered a sheep, he would say, 'Send it to Khadijah's friends.' One day he vented his anger and said, "Khadija!" I said. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "I have been given his love."Narrated by Imam Bukhari, Imam Muslim, Imam Tirmidhi).
Another hadith narrated from 'A'ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) says: “When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) remembered Khadijah, he remembered her with kind words and praised her. One day I became jealous and said, "You remember a woman who lost a tooth in her mouth so much. God has given you something better than that." The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah did not give me anything better than that. He believed in me when people disbelieved in me, he confirmed me when people lied to me, and he helped me with his wealth when people did not help him. He gave birth to a child from her. "Narrated by Imam Ahmad).
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayra that Gabriel came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said: “O Messenger of Allaah! Behold, Khadijah has come to you. He has a bowl in his hand. It has food or drink or drink. When he comes to you, greet him with greetings from the Lord and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he will be given a lu'lu '(adorned with rubies) in Paradise: there will be no noise or fatigue. So give him the prophecy. "Imam Bukhari, Imam Muslim).
Our mother Khadijah did a great service to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). This scene in the hadith is one of his sincere deeds, carrying food from the Prophet's back and walking a certain distance. Despite his prestige in society, his immeasurable wealth, the fact that he carried his food among the mountains and the rocks, he knew his duty, the value of this service. The fact that Gabriel (peace be upon him) reported about Khadijah and sent greetings in the name of Allah and himself is also a sign of divine grace. What a wonder it is when such grace is not bestowed on another human child!

He made Paradise the abode of His beloved servants, filled it with His mercy and approval, and described the blessings in it as great and its possessions as great. If you ask about the place of paradise, know that it is musk and saffron. The ceiling is Rahman's throne. The bricks of the buildings are of gold and silver, and the stones of the earth are of coral and rubies. The body of the tree in Paradise is not made of wood as it is in this world, but of pure gold, and its fruit is sweeter than honey.
Do you know the women who were given the prophecy of heaven? I want to introduce you to one of them today.
The mother of the believers is Khadija bint Huwaylid. We all know him, of course. Our mother Khadija has a high place in the life of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). She was one of the best women of her time. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) repeatedly gave this mother the prophecy of Paradise.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayra that
“Gabriel came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said, 'O Messenger of Allaah, Khadijah is bringing you bread [or food or juice] in a bowl. When he comes to you, greet him on behalf of your Lord and on my behalf, and give him the prophecy of a house in Paradise with no noise and no fatigue, and a hollow house. '
It is narrated on the authority of 'A'isha that:
“I was not jealous of any of his wives as much as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was jealous of Khadijah, who died before she married me, because I used to hear that she remembered him (a lot). Allah commanded her to give the prophecy of a house in Paradise. He would slaughter a sheep and give it to his friends until he reached it.
The world is an ocean, in which many are drowned, and paradise is the shore of salvation. The pleasure of reaching the shores of peace is far greater than the pleasure of traveling in the oceans of the world. The world is a bridge, cross it, don't bother building it! Do not make the world prosperous, I do not mean to call you to laziness and abandonment, but to prevent the world from becoming your main goal and preparing for the Hereafter.

Our mother Khadija used to give money to traders and bring goods for their trade. When they found out that our Prophet was right and trustworthy, they entrusted them with a large sum of money for trade and sent it to Damascus. Our Prophet left for Damascus with Maysara, a slave of Khadijah. When our Prophet (saas) returned, Khadijah (ra) had a large income.
Even more advantageous were the miracles that Maysara saw (Some scholars say that this miracle was that the two angels shielded our Prophet from the rays of the sun). Khadijah's friend Nafisa bint Maniya was sent to the Prophet (saas) to inform them that he wanted to marry them, and they got married. At that time, the age of Khadija (ra) was thirty-nine and the age of our Prophet (saas) was twenty-five.
They supported our Prophet (saas) until the death of Khadija (ra). When our Prophet (pbuh) called people to Islam, he protected them from their enemies and stood by them in the most difficult situations. They were the first to convert to Islam, spending their money for the benefit of Islam. Aisha It is narrated on the authority of (ra):

KHADICHA bint Khuwaylid (ca. 555 / 556-620 / 621) - The first wives of Muhammad (pbuh). Khadija was a wealthy widow. Muhammad (pbuh) first managed Khadijah’s trade, then married her and traded with her funds.
Khadijah showed great care and kindness to Muhammad (pbuh), who immediately believed in his prophecies when revelation came to him, and was one of the first to convert to Islam. He had 4 daughters and three sons from Muhammad (pbuh), only a descendant of his youngest daughter Fatima.
