Malika Abdullahojaeva (1932-2018)

Malika Abdullahojaeva was born on November 1932, 28 in Moscow, the Russian Federation. In 1956 he graduated from the Tashkent State Medical Institute (now the Tashkent Medical Academy) and studied at the graduate school of the Institute of Brain of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He first defended his PhD and later his doctoral dissertation. In 2000 he was elected a full member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He was awarded the title of Hero of Uzbekistan and the Order of Labor Glory.

M.Abdullahojaeva began her career in 1960 as an assistant at the Tashkent State Medical Institute. During almost 60 years of scientific and pedagogical activity, the scientist has worked as the head of the laboratory of the Research Institute of Radiology, Radiology and Oncology (now the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology), the head of the department at the Tashkent State Medical Institute, the director of the Pathology Center. Thus, he made a worthy contribution to the development of healthcare in our country, the study of current issues of medical science, the training of highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel.

His more than 300 scientific articles, about 20 books and monographs, as well as about 10 author's works on theoretical and practical issues of medicine are well known to scientists and specialists of our country and abroad.
