Neurosonography examination in children

Neurosonography (NSG) is an ultrasound examination of the children's brain through the lens.

It is an informative and safe method for identifying congenital and acquired pathologies of the brain in children under one year of age. Neurosonography is carried out until the age of 1, that is, until the end of the licks.

Neurosonography helps to identify the following diseases:
Increased intracranial pressure, hydrocephalus
Congenital developmental anomalies (Dandy-Walker and Arnold-Chiari anomaly)
▪️Cysts, tumors
▪️ Brain ischemia
▪️ Hematomas, aneurysms
