Writer Nosir Fozilov entered the history of our literature in the second half of the 50s and has published more than seventy books. Among them are about thirty original works, and the rest are translated books. He was born on June 1929, 10 in the village of Qoriz, Turkestan district, Shymkent region of Kazakhstan.

Although his parents were farmers, his grandfather Tursunmuhammad Alam wrote poems under the pseudonym Gurbati. Kami, Khislat, and Siddiqi Khandayliqi agreed, and three of his books of poetry were published in Tashkent.

N. Fozilov's childhood coincided with the war, so he both studied and worked. As a result, he graduated from high school much later than his peers, in 1949. Then he came to Tashkent to study at Dorilfunun and graduated in 1954. After that he appeared in magazines such as "Gulkhan", "Sharq Yulduz" and "Yosh Gvardiya", G. He holds various positions in the Gulam Publishing House of Literature and Art.

The author's first story was published in Lenin's Spark in 1953, while his first book was published in 1959 under the title Irmoq. Nosir Fozilov was also an effective translator. He translated and published the works of many Kazakh writers in Uzbek, such as Abay, Mukhtor Avezov, Sabir Mukanov, Gabit Musrepov, Gabiden Mustafin, Abdulla Tadjibayev, Abdijalil Nurpeisov. He also translated many works from Kyrgyz, Karakalpak and other languages ​​into Uzbek. His fruitful work in this field of creativity was not wasted. In 1985 he was awarded the G. of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan for the book "Grandchildren of the Shum child". In 1986, he was awarded the Bayimbet Maylin State Prize of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan for his translations of Kazakh literature, and in 1990, he was awarded the Hamza State Prize for his work "In the Circle of Teachers". In 1999, he was awarded the title of "Honored Artist of Uzbekistan." He was awarded the Order "El-Yurt Hurmati" (XNUMX).

N. Many of Fozilov's works have been translated and published in other languages. In 1994, he was awarded the International Prize "For Peace and Spiritual Solidarity", established by the President of Kazakhstan, for his great contribution to the Uzbek-Kazakh literary relations.

Nosir Fozilov passed away on January 2017, 13 in the city of Tashkent.
