If you want your computer monitor to last for years, keep in mind that the screen surface cannot be cleaned with alcohol, window cleaners, acetone, laundry detergent.

Any modern computer monitor is equipped with an anti-fouling coating, and cleaning it with alcohol can cause small cracks on the surface. It is best to use a special tool that is sold in computer stores.

If you can’t afford to buy special cleaning tools, home-made hand tools can help. The excessively soiled monitor is first soaked in soapy water, then wiped with a clean, dry cloth. It is advisable to use baby soap for this.

Do not touch the monitor surface with your finger to avoid stains that are difficult to remove, as well as prevent the formation of oil layers on the surface.

After you wipe the screen with a damp paper towel (you don't have to press the screen too hard), wipe it over with a dry cloth as well.

It is best to keep the monitor cool, away from the central heating system and direct sunlight. Excessive heat can damage the monitor and the computer's internal components.
