Rufat Gulomovich Mahkamov was born in 1930 in the city of Tashkent. In 1954, N.C. He graduated from the Bauman Moscow Higher Technical School, where he studied at the graduate school in 1957-1960. He defended his PhD in 1961 and his doctoral dissertation in 1978. In 2000 he was elected a full member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He was awarded the title of "Honored Scientist of Uzbekistan."
R. Mahkamov began his career in 1954 as a junior researcher at the Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering Technology of the former Soviet Union. During almost 64 years of scientific and pedagogical activity, the talented scientist has served our people and country as a scientific secretary of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences, senior researcher of the Institute of Geology, associate professor of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, head of the department, professor. and the development of education, the training of highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel in the field of mechanical engineering.
R.Makhamov's more than 200 scientific articles, books and monographs on theoretical and practical issues in the field of technology are well known to scientists and specialists of our country and abroad. A number of candidates of sciences and doctors of sciences have been trained under the direct guidance of a devoted devotee of science who has taught many young people as a passionate teacher.
