Almsgiving

The sadaqa al-fitr is the sadaqa given by a wealthy Muslim to those who are allowed to pay zakat on Eid al-Fitr.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was ordered to give the sadaqa al-fitr to the poor in the second year of the migration.

Wisdom. 1. To save the poor from the pain of begging on a great day like Eid al-Fitr;
2. On such a great holiday that all Muslims rejoice, to bring joy and rest to the poor as well.
3. He who cleanses his body by fasting also purifies his wealth.
4. Correction of some of the mistakes that were probably made during the fast.
