Tahir Malik (Tahir Hobilov) was born on December 1946, 27 in an intellectual family.

He studied at the evening department of the Faculty of Journalism of Tashkent State University (now UzMU). He worked as a carpenter and bricklayer in construction. Later, he worked as a literary officer and department head in the current newspaper "Tong Yztyziri" (1966).

After completing his military service, he worked on Republican Radio, "Cholpon", G. He served in the Ghulam Literary and Art Publishing House, in the magazines "Guliston", "Sharq tyzni", "Yoshlik", and in the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan. Since 1995, he has been teaching the Uzbek language at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

He got into the genre of fiction, which has received little attention in Uzbek literature, in his student years; a number of his works attracted the attention of readers. "The Death of Hikmat Effendi" (1972) is considered the first short story in the direction of fiction in Uzbek literature. A series of stories in this direction, "Falak" (1976), "Poisonous Dust" (1978), "Messengers of the Milky Way" (1979), "Living Water" (1984), the novel "Mad" (1985, originally "Standing at the Crossroads" published under the name of "people"), the book "Black Angel" (2005) was published; these works were translated into Russian and other foreign languages.

Adib studied the activities of Uzbek intellectuals of the beginning of the 1987th century and wrote the novel "Savahil" (2008, previously published under the name "Kaldirgoch") based on the life of Abdulla Avloni, and the short story "A Song About a Free Man" (1990) in memory of Mirzakalon Ismaili. This theme continued later in the stories "The Last Bullet" (1997), "The Hunt" (1988). A seven-part TV movie was created based on "The Last Bullet". His works "One Street, One Night" (2006), "Iblis Dvori" (2007), "The Smallest Crime" (2001) devoted to issues of spirituality and moral values ​​were also liked by readers. A feature film was shot based on "Devil's Wall". Adib paid a lot of attention to the study of the spiritual and spiritual world of man. As a result of this, the educational works "The Long Way of Crime" (2009), "Avousiz Ilan" (2010), "Aql va Aqil" (2010), "Kelinlar Daftariga" (2012), "Keep Your Tongue", "Guest Feelings" and three The book "Human Property" (XNUMX) was published.

At the same time, the author's works were translated into Arabic, Russian, Kyrgyz, Kazakh, and Uighur languages.

Adib is also the author of several film scripts and radio plays.

People's writer of Uzbekistan Tahir Malik was awarded the Order of "Friendship" in 1996.
