Tahir Malik (Tahir Hobilov) was born on December 1946, 27 in an intellectual family.

Adib studied the activities of Uzbek intellectuals of the beginning of the 1987th century and wrote the novel "Savahil" (2008, previously published under the name "Kaldirgoch") based on the life of Abdulla Avloni, and the short story "A Song About a Free Man" (1990) in memory of Mirzakalon Ismaili. This theme continued later in the stories "The Last Bullet" (1997), "The Hunt" (1988). A seven-part TV movie was created based on "The Last Bullet". Adib is also the author of several film scripts and radio plays.
People's writer of Uzbekistan Tahir Malik was awarded the Order of "Friendship" in 1996.
