The computer virus that causes the most damage
- MyDoom, also known as W32.MyDoom@mm, is by far the most malicious computer virus. The virus first appeared on computer systems on January 2004, 26. It was designed to damage the Microsoft Windows operating system and caused $ 38 billion in damage, making it the most expensive computer virus in history. The virus was so destructive that once infected, it creates network “holes” that allow the hacker to control the computer. It is estimated that about 2004% of all emails sent in 25 were infected with MyDoom.
