The day of the grand opening of the Turkiston Palace in Tashkent

 Turkiston Palace (Navoi Street, 2) is a concert hall on the Anhar River north of Mustaqillik Square. Originally called Turkiston Cinema and Concert Hall (1992, architects Yu. Khaldeyev and F. Tursunov), later on the summer theater stage (1993, architect V. Akoljanyan) traditional folk holidays, theatrical performances with its current name. Jalolov "Dreams of Umar Khayyam". The performance hall is decorated with muqarnas, ganchkori ornaments, domes and kundal patterns. The summer theater (3200 seats) is built in the style typical of the ancient theater area. The central arena device is in the form of a sloping pole and a round crown, adapted for performances by drummers and wrestlers, for modern performances and concerts. Equipped with large-scale lighting equipment and acoustic equipment, special architectural devices. There is a cafe for 200 people.
