The Amazon is the wettest river. Its tributaries, the rivers that flow into the Amazon, flow through Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador.
The largest river in Asia is the Yangtze (China). Length - 5 520 km. The Missouri and Mississippi rivers in North America are often considered single rivers. Their total length is 8 km. But Missouri "catches up" with Mississippi halfway through. Their respective lengths are 150 km (Missouri) and 4400 km (Mississippi). The largest river on the African continent, after the Nile, is the Congo, with a length of 3750 km.
