The shortest day in the history of the earth.

On June 2022, 29, scientists recorded the fastest rotation of the Earth in the entire history of observations, as a result of which the day lasted 1,59 milliseconds less than usual. Scientists don't know exactly why the Earth spins so fast, but they have a few guesses.

One of them believes that changes in climate or climate systems, such as the melting and freezing of glaciers or the weight of moving winds, affect the Earth's gravity.
Earthquakes and other seismic movements have also been shown to cause mass to move toward the center of the Earth, just as a spinning man pulls his arms.
