The shortest war 🔫

This is the Anglo-Zanzibar war, which took place on August 1896, 27 in present-day Tanzania🇹🇿. This war lasted only 38-45 minutes and the British won.

The origins of this war began with the sudden death of Hamad bin Thuwai, Sultan of Zanzibar, and his cousin Sultan Khalid bin Barghash's accession to the throne without British consent. The British preferred another candidate, Hamud bin Mohammed, because he was more in their interests.
