  1. Allocate your time properly. When preparing for exams, if you have a strict schedule of academic subjects, you will not be in a hurry and will not be overly nervous. Imagine the processes that take place in your brain when storing new information in memory: memory comes in two forms - temporary and permanent. While the cerebral cortex is responsible for temporary memory, permanent memory is located in a relatively deeper part of the brain. It only helps during exams if the data is stored in a permanent memory. So repeat it more to remember the data better and make sure it is stored in a permanent memory.
  1. Don’t give up sleep altogether just to prepare for an exam. Healthy sleep is extremely important for health. And before going to bed, prepare for the most difficult subject. Because during sleep, as mentioned above, the process of transition of information from temporary memory to permanent memory takes place.
  1. Keep notes, textbooks, and additional publications in order. Make it easy to find them when you need them.
  1. Strictly follow the diet. Typically, applicants also waste time eating while preparing for the exam. This can have the opposite effect on them. If you give up fast food, confectionery and other artificial foods and eat more fruits and vegetables, cereals, fish, eggs, dairy products, your memory will be strengthened, your attention will be focused, and your vision will not deteriorate.   1. Don’t read until the last minute. Preparing for an exam until the last day of the night can make the situation worse.   1. Take a break. Take breaks from time to time during the preparation process. At this point, distract your brain - breathe fresh air, walk less, eat something, and so on. Remember one thing: when you relax, your brain absorbs information better, your attention is focused, your mind is clearer, and you feel refreshed. However, the rest should not exceed 15 minutes. Otherwise you will have a hard time getting back to the lesson process.
  1. Use special cards to remember information. Make them with your own hands, don’t forget to also give beautiful decorations. You will remember more easily if you use graphics, pictures, diagrams, tables when writing data on cards. Photos and images are a great help, especially if you have a strong visual memory.
  1. Examine the materials in parts. For example, mark the information using colored pencils (felt-tip pens): yellow pencil - important rules, blue - formulas, green - states, and so on.
  1. Test yourself with quizzes. Then you will know what you are doing wrong, and you will be mentally prepared.
  1. Listen to classical music in a low voice (listen to music that should not be accompanied by laughter), and do breathing exercises. These will help strengthen your memory.
  1. Take quizzes with yourself on the most difficult topics. Ask yourself questions on the topic and answer them.
  1. Focus on topics that don’t interest you first. Remember to reward yourself once you have mastered difficult topics. Buy a gift that will make you happy.
  1. Come to the exam early. Then you will have a lot of pressure before the exam starts.
  1. Start with easy questions first. Do not doubt your answers, listen to your inner voice (intuition). The more skeptical you are, the less likely you are to determine the correct answer. Don’t spend too much time on controversial questions, but come back to them later.
