According to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 2017, 25 No PP-2925 "On additional measures to further improve the living standards of the population in remote desert areas of Navoi region" to the State Commission on Admission to Institutions of Higher Education in Navoi, Bukhara and Samarkand regions from the 2017-2018 academic year with a score of 68 and above on the results of tests, Preferential admission of applicants living in remote desert areas for at least three years, followed by additional grants on the basis of an agreement between the relevant regional administration and the higher education institution in the budget organizations of these areas for at least 4 years given the right.
