Q: Is it the responsibility of the class leaders to go to the house where the students live in order to find out their social status?

Answer: There is no specific provision in the Regulation on the organization of class teachers' activities in the general secondary education institution regarding the visits of class teachers to the homes where students live in order to find out their social status.

Only one clause of the charter states that students' attendance should be monitored, parents of students who are absent without a reason should be contacted by phone to find out the reasons for absenteeism, and the school administration should be informed about the results.

However, the class teacher, as one of the basic educators in the educational system of the educational institution, must organize the practical education and upbringing of the students of the class attached to him.

Also:
✅Class teachers monitor the growth of students on the basis of pedagogical observations, individual approach to students in need;

✅ "Family - neighborhood - educational institution" cooperation Wide implementation of the activities of the Public Council, holding class parent meetings on the basis of a clearly defined plan;

✅Specification of specific measures for the social protection of students, including children from low-income families, in need of social protection, deprived of parental care, left without parental care, guardianship and trusteeship protect the social rights of minors.

Therefore, class teachers should cooperate with juvenile commissions, neighborhoods, law enforcement agencies, and relevant governmental and non-governmental organizations through the management of the educational institution in order to know the social status of students.

In addition to the above, we can say that the task of the school psychologist is to identify problems in the development of students (mental, physical, emotional), social development in various forms and to carry out work on their psychological and pedagogical correction.

In conclusion, the class teacher should also be aware of the social status of the students. Whether this work is done in collaboration with MFY staff, prevention inspectors, or over the phone depends on the class teacher’s own work style. It is important to be aware of the social status of students and to help them closely.
