Which bird is happy?

SHARE WITH FRIENDS:

In ancient times, a crow lived in the thick forest of distant lands. He lived a very happy, happy life. But one day he saw a swan flying in the sky with dignity, and he thought, “It is a very white bird. So very beautiful. And I'm black. I think the swan is probably the happiest bird in the world. ”

He went to the swan and told his conclusions about the happiness he had imagined. He moaned at his own unhappiness. The swan stretched its long neck forward and replied:

- In general, you are right. But there is a happier bird than me, it is a parrot. He is the happiest bird in the world.

Confident that the parrot was the happiest bird in the world from the swan's confession, the crow met the parrot on the way. He told her the description of the swan. The parrot shook his head and said:

"Friend, the swan has a soul." The reason was that I had the same confession until I met the peacock. Now I know that the happiest bird in the world is the peacock. Look, I only have two different colors. My beauty is in these two colored feathers. But in the peacock you meet all the colors in the world. Undoubtedly, it is the most beautiful, happiest bird in the world.

The crow went in search of the peacock to conclude his conclusions. Searching, he found her inside a cage at the zoo. The crow was fascinated by the beauty of the peacock for a while. There was no doubt that he was the happiest bird. The most amazing thing was that dozens and hundreds of people behind bars were standing tall to watch it, talking excitedly to each other. The crow waited until the curtain of night spread around and the people dispersed. Then he slowly approached the peacock. He explained to her the purpose of coming here. The peacock, gathering its rainbow-like feathers, began to speak slowly:

"Oh, Crow!" Do you think you are unhappy? After all, you are a free bird. You can fly wherever you want, you can talk to the birds you want. So your own freedom is in your own hands. What about me? I have to put myself behind these bars to give people a moment of joy. Remember, my friend Crow, the captive soul will never feel happy.

Shaking the wings of the crow, which was moving away from the peacock, he found a complete answer to the question "which bird is happy" and fully admitted that the greatest happiness is freedom.
