Who am I?
Nargiza is studying in the 8th grade. Today in the literature class, the teacher asked "Who am I?" assigned to write an essay on the topic. Nargiza thought about what the teacher said. Because he hadn't thought about it until now. Four years ago, his father, the successor of my profession, appointed his brother to attend additional training in the necessary subjects, so that he would become a doctor. However, his brother did not agree because he wanted to become a craftsman like our neighbor Adham. Brother Adham makes door-frames to order. Sardar, who first admired his work and later began to help him, began to study this craft in earnest. Now his brother is one of the trusted disciples of the master. Not only his family, but also his neighborhood are happy. Because his brother made seats and benches around the teahouse, he received the blessings of the elders. Nargiza thought about these things and realized that her chosen profession will play an important role in achieving her goal.
In fact, on the eve of graduation, "How to choose a profession?", "From what age should students be taught the concepts of the profession?" such questions make children think. Today, you will find answers to such questions in the interview of psychologist Nigora Shomurodova, associate professor of Tashkent State University of Economics.
- Our children's interest in the profession begins at the first meeting. For example, some of you just come to school and observe your teacher's behavior. Instead, you dream of becoming a teacher, or envying the clothes of your brother, who works in the military, you want to become the owner of this profession. This way you change your mind often. But you should obey your inner desires and choose the profession of your dreams, where you will work with love and passion for a lifetime in your chosen field. The reason is that if your parents are doctors or teachers, they want you to follow their professions. If you don't have interest in this profession, you will never be good at it.
When you get to the upper class, you start to pay attention to the important aspects of choosing a profession. That is, you will come to a decision by making sure that his place and position in society matches your character and nature, and that there are no obstacles that would hinder you.
Some of your peers are still undecided about who they want to be when they graduate. In order to reveal the interests and abilities of such students, we conduct questionnaires called "Unfinished sentences" in schools. In it, we will determine how firm your decision is, your assumptions and hesitations. Through the survey, we get answers to questions such as "Important aspects of my chosen profession", "Representatives of my chosen profession" and "I imagine myself in my chosen profession". In it, we will learn how much you value your chosen profession, who you know and what you think about them, how much you can demonstrate your skills in this profession. We hear your inner wishes. We will find out which subjects you are interested in and direct you to professions through your hidden abilities.
Of course, every parent wants their children to have a prestigious profession. As a teenager, you also want to always be noticed and see yourself in high positions in the future. But if we find that your desire and internal capabilities do not match, that is, you do not have the ability for this profession, based on your worldview, we recommend another specialty.
Sometimes your parents involve you in extra curricular activities after school so that you can have a good career. Unfortunately, if your inner desire is not connected with your interest in these subjects, you will approach those activities with frustration. In some cases, on the contrary, your hidden talent will be revealed during training in the subjects that you were weak at first. Your love for this science may awaken and motivate you to choose a profession. Do not forget that if a person chooses a profession that he does not want, he may face many obstacles to achieve his goal in life.
Therefore, each of you should choose a profession that determines your life path and encourages you to work with passion. Then everything you do with love will be effective and highly appreciated.
After the psychologist's interview, Nargiza without hesitation decided to study the profession she was interested in.
Dear reader, have you thought about who you want to be in the future? What are your career goals? We are waiting for your opinion on this, and we will discuss it together.
