"He doesn't sleep and doesn't let anyone sleep."
Of course, his work is amazing. This is the man who defeated the Muslims on the day of Uhud and defeated the enemies of Islam in the remaining battles! Let’s quote from the beginning of his story. And but from which beginning? Of course, he himself does not acknowledge the beginning of his life, unless he acknowledges the day on which he pledged allegiance to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). And if he could, he would erase the days from his life and life years before that day. Let us begin with him from the time he was slaughtered, from that bright moment in which his heart was bent and his soul at that time received the transmission from the right hand of the Most Gracious and from His two hands, each of which is right, and as a result from the moment when he threw away from his shoulders the sins of helping the falsehood of the past days, full of religion and an ambassador and a passion for great martyrdom on the path of truth.
In fact, he was left to fend for himself and turned his mature imagination around this new religion, whose flags were rising and rising every day. And he dreamed of asking Allah, the Knower of the unseen, to help him with guidance for a reason. And in the heart of intelligence appeared the bearers of trust, and said: (By Allah, the camel's leg was straight. They knew the passenger by looking at the camel's footprint. There are so many references here, that is, about the man. 'came out right). Surely this man is indeed a Prophet. So how long? I will go, I swear by Allah, I will become a Muslim, and I wanted to find someone to accompany me. At that time, I met 'Uthman ibn Tolha. And I told him my wish, and immediately he accepted and we went out together. And we set off in the desert. When we reached the place called Sahl, we suddenly saw 'Amr ibn' As. He looked at us and said, "Hello, people." We said, "And to you." He asked if there was a way, so we informed him and he also told us that he wanted the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to become a Muslim. Accompanied by him, we entered Madinah on the first day of the month of Safar in the eighth year of the Hijrah. When I saw the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), I greeted him with the word of faith. He greeted me with an open face. Immediately I became a Muslim and gave real testimony.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: I saw your mind and I hoped that it would lead you only to good.
And I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): Ask Allaah to forgive me for everything I have done in idolatry for the sake of Allaah.
They said: Surely Islam loses everything before it.
I said: O Messenger of Allah, nevertheless. (Ask Allah for forgiveness). He said: O Allah, forgive every deed of Khalid ibn Walid that hinders you.
And 'Amr ibn' As and 'Uthman ibn Talha also went ahead and became Muslims. And he pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Did you see what he said to our Prophet: Ask Allah for forgiveness for everything I have done in despair for the sake of Allah?
Of course, one who focuses his eyes and mind on this phrase will be able to understand the similarities between the sword of Allah and the straying in the life of the hero of Islam. And as we reach these places in his life story, this phrase will be our guide in understanding and interpreting them. But now, so that we may immediately see Khalid, a Muslim, the rider of the Quraysh and the owner of the most rebellious horses in it, and the genius of all the Arabs in the world of war, turning his back on the gods of his ancestors and his people. so that we may see with the Muslims and the Muslims the resurrection under the word of monotheism and the banner of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in anticipation of the new world that Allaah has ordained. So that we can see the wonders of his work with Khalid, who is a Muslim.
Do we remember the message of the mujahideen for the heroes of the Mo'ta warrior? It is known that they were: Zayd ibn Haritha and Ja'far ibn Abu Talib and Abdullah ibn Rawaha. in fact, they were the heroes of the Mu'tah campaign in Damascus. He said that the Greeks had gathered two hundred thousand soldiers in it, and that the Muslims had been tested beyond measure. And you may remember the great condolences of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) on the death of the three commanders of the campaign: (He fought the flag with Zayd ibn Harithah, and he was even martyred. (It is a continuation of these hadiths of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), which we have preserved in its place in these pages. The continuation of this is as follows: then the flag was taken by a sword from one of the swords of Allah, as a result of which Allah gave victory in his hand, so who is this hero? In fact, he was Khalid ibn Walid. The three commanders of the army, led by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), hurried to Mu'tah as ordinary soldiers under the command of Zaid, Ja'far and Rawaha. After the end of the commanders was martyred, Thabit ibn Arqam hurried to the flag and held it in his hand and raised it high among the Muslim armies so that the chaos would not destroy the Muslims. And Thabit raised the flag and turned to Khalid ibn Walid and said, "Take the flag, O father of Solomon." Khalid replied to Thabit ibn Arqam, “No, I will not take the flag, you are more entitled to it: you are older and you have attended Badr. And Thabit replied to him, "Hold him. You know the battle better than I do, and I swear by Allah that I took it only for you." He then shouted at the Muslims, "Do you agree with Khalid's leadership?" They said, "Yes." And the native wrestler settled on his lap. And he stretched out the flag with his right hand, as if with it, to knock on the locked doors when it was time for the protagonist to take the long path of flames that the hero would quickly jump over. This revelation was in the life of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and after his death, even until destiny brought him to the appointed end of his extraordinary heroism. After the fate of the battle was determined, Khalid accepted the command of the army. There are many casualties from Muslims and their wings are turned. The Greek army, on the other hand, celebrated with innumerable and destructive victories. In this case, the only thing the leader was expected to do was to stop the casualties in the Islamic armies and bring the rest safely from the battlefield. At this point, the sword of God, like an eagle, moved forward with its two eyes fixed on a wide battlefield and made plans at the speed of light in his imagination. And the armies were divided into several groups and then each group was given its own task. And began to use his mature genius and miraculous skills. He even opened a wide open path among the Roman army, as a result of which the Muslim army came out safe and sound!
The Quraysh broke the truce with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). As a result, the Muslims, under his leadership, revolted to conquer Mecca. And on the right side of the army, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) commanded Khalid ibn Walid. And Khalid enters Mecca as one of the leaders of the Muslim army and the Muslim Ummah. And the memories of his childhood in his mind, his sweet meadows. And the memories of his youth come from his passionate pastimes. Then he is moved by the memories of long days when he sacrificed his life to the helpless idols. And before the heart of remorse crushes, this vision fills with splendor and trembling. A view of the light coming upon Mecca. The sight of the poor, whose bodies have not yet been stripped of their sufferings and horrors, who are returning to the city from which they were expelled by oppression and aggression, are returning to it on their ropes and under the waving flags of Islam. And the whispers that Arqam prayed in the courtyard yesterday turned into the mature takbirs and triumphant analyzes that sounded in Mecca today, as if the whole being seemed to be immersed in a celebration! How perfect was this miracle? Is there an explanation for this phenomenon? Nothing has any explanation for this verse, which these victorious warriors happily repeat among their takbirs and analyzes, looking at each other: “The promise of Allah is true. Allah does not break His promise. And Khalid raised his head and looked at the banner of Islam, which filled the horizon with envy, wonder, and kindness, and said to himself, "Surely, it is the promise of Allah."
And Allah does not break His promise. He then guided himself to Islam and made himself and one of those who brought Islam to Mecca on this great day of conquest.
As the apostate armies began to prepare for his great betrayal, the great caliph Abu Bakr decided to lead the Muslim army himself. And the elders of the Companions made many desperate regrets to dissuade him from this decision. And yet it increased in determination. Abu Bakr lined up the Muslims and led them in the direction in which the tribes of Bani Abs and Bani Murra and Zubyan emerged as a large army. The war began, and then the Muslims gained strength and a great victory. And before the victorious army could settle in Madinah, the caliph summoned them to the coming battle. And the dangers of apostate messages and gatherings increased every hour. And Abu Bakr turned out to be the commander over this second army as well. And yet the patience of the elders of the Companions was exhausted. And he agreed that the caliph would stay in Medina. Hazrat Ali blocked Abu Bakr's path and grabbed the reins of the horse he was riding. He said, 'Where is the Caliph of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)? Verily, I narrate to you the words of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) on the Day of Uhud: “Put your sword in its scabbard, O Abu Bakr, and do not frighten us with your selfishness”. In the face of this unanimous decision by the Muslims, the caliph agreed to stay in Medina. And he divided the army into eleven groups, and determined the direction of each group. And Khalid ibn Walid became the leader of a large group of them. When the Caliph handed over his flag to each Amir, Khalid turned to him and said to him, “I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say, how good is Khalid ibn Walid, the servant of Allaah and the brother of the tribe. It is one of the swords that Allah draws against the disbelievers and the hypocrites.
mmmm Khalid continued on his way with this army, moving from one battle to another and from one victory to another, even until there was a decisive battle.
In Yamama, he gathered the most dangerous of the Banu Hanifa and the tribes that joined him and all the apostate armies, and he was led by Musaylamatul Qazab. And some Muslim forces had multiplied by experimenting their share with the Musailama army and had not been able to defeat it. Khalid received the caliph's order: "Let the Bani Hanifa go to the side." Khalid marched, and when he learned that Musaylama ibn Walid had set out in his own direction, he reorganized the army. And the real danger and horror from it poses a rival. And these two armies meet. And you have read in the history and biography books that this terrible battle is going on. Khalid came down from a high hill with his army facing Yamama, and Musaylama was greeted with his arrogance and aggression. The end was unknown because of the large number of troops! Khalid distributed the salt and flags to the commanders. And the two armies attacked each other and a terrible battle ensued. And the Muslim martyrs fell like flowers in a garden that had been torn down by a severe storm! And Khalid saw the weight of the enemy's line and climbed the nearby hill with his rope and took a quick and deep look at the battlefield. And he immediately recognized and calculated the points of weakness in the army. Musaylama saw a weakening of his sense of responsibility under the sudden attack of the army. And at that moment, all Muslims decided to ignite the fire of responsibility in their hearts to the end. And he summoned to himself the commanders of the army on the right and on the left. And he redistributed their positions on the battlefield. Then the victor exclaimed in a loud voice, "Separate yourselves from each other, so that we may see each tribe endure the ordeal today." And they all stood apart. The emigrants are under their own flags and the Ansar are under their own flags: And each great man was under his own flag, and so it was perfectly clear where he came from when the defeat came. And the curiosity of the lusts radiated and ignited. And full of determination and envy. Khalid would command him from time to time by drawing takbir or analysis or saiha, as a result of which the swords of the army would become their destiny, which would not hinder their ideas and return them to their deeds. In a matter of minutes the course of the battle had changed, and Musailama's soldiers began to fall in balance, hundreds, maybe thousands, like the flies that had been suffocated by the breath of life in which the poisonous spray of the deadly mosquito medicine had been sprayed! In fact, Khalid transmitted his uplifting power to his soldiers in amber (electric current) and his spirit was embedded in the whole army. And that quality was also one of the characteristics of his brilliant innate genius. Thus, the most dangerous of their campaigns and the fiercest of wars continued. Musaylama was killed. And the corpses of his men and armies filled the battlefield, and the flag of this false claimant was buried under the ground.
And in Medina, the caliph prayed a prayer of thanksgiving to his great Lord for giving them this victory and this hero. Abu Bakr, with his intelligence and the eye of his heart, realized the dangerous claim that the forces of evil lurking behind the borders of his country were threatening the future of Islam and its people. The Persians in Iraq and the Romans in the cities of Damascus. Two mad empires from their distant portions l. The Persians in Iraq and the Romans in the cities of Damascus. The two mad empires hang on to rotten ropes from their distant fortunes, inflicting terrible suffering on the people of Iraq and Damascus, striking all the fortresses of the ancient world with the banner of this new religion and its sinking, and its façade and remnants. they were forced to fight against the Muslim Arabs who were tearing them apart. Meanwhile, the great blessed caliph sent instructions to Khalid to march on the Iraqi side with his army. And this hero went to Iraq. Perhaps if these pages are wide enough to follow his victorious caravans. At that time, we saw amazing things from them. in fact he began his work in Iraq with letters from Kisro from all the governors and nobles in the cities and villages of Iraq. Khalid ibn Walid said to the governor of Faris, “In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Peace be upon those who follow the right path. Ammaba'd. Praise be to Allah, Who has dispersed His servants and taken away your property and weakened your scheming. Whoever prays and faces our qibla and eats from the animals we slaughter, then he is a Muslim. What is for us is the same for him. And that's exactly what we need. If this letter of mine reaches you, send me hostages and expect a covenant from me, and if not, there is no god but Him. I swear by God, I will send you a people who love to die as you love life! ”And his followers in Iraq. He brought accounts of a large number of troops being prepared for Persian commanders. Then he did not waste his time and began to walk on it with his soldiers to destroy the vanity. The earth was shrinking strangely for him.
The victory of Islam over the Persians in Iraq signaled a similar victory over the Greeks in Damascus. Abu Bakr Siddiq gathered an army of various kinds and placed several skilled commanders under their command. When Abu Ubaydah ibn Jarah and Amr ibn 'As, Mu'awiyah ibn Abu Sufyan and the news of these armies reached the Roman emperor, he exhorted their ministers and armies not to make peace with the Muslims and not to go to war with them, and said: I will treat you with it. " So let the Greeks bring all their horrors and there is this “ointment” with the Muslims! Ibn Walid lined up his army and divided them into several groups. And according to the Greek method, in Iraq, their brother put a new plan of attack and defense after learning of the Persian methods of war. And marked every spot of the campaign. And to his surprise, of course, the campaign was determined by the state, and the steps and movements continued as expected, even as if he had not even done the measure and calculation if he had said the sword blows in battle before. They made every move they expected from Rome. They made every walk he said before. And before the battle began, the possibility of some soldiers of the army, especially those who had just converted to Islam, fleeing after seeing the horror and fear created by the appearance of the Roman army, occupied his mind a little. Khalid knew that the way to victory was in one thing. He is the Sabbath! And again he knew that the instability of two or three men in an army could disperse what the whole enemy army was unable to do so it was an uncompromising deterrent to the man who dropped his weapon and turned his back. In this battle - in this battle of Yamluk - after the army took its place, he summoned the Muslim women and for the first time gave them a sword and ordered them to stand behind the ranks of the Muslims on all sides and said to them, “Whoever turns his back and flees, so kill him. And this mature event justified its mission to a high degree! Before the battle began, the Greek commander demanded that Khalid come out to confront him in order to say a few words to him. And Khalid came out to meet them, and they came face to face on their horses in the plain that separated the two armies. The Greek commander said to Khalid, “We know that nothing has come out of your lands except famine. If you wish, I will give each of you ten pieces of silver and a head and food, and you will return to your own land, and next year I will send you the same amount. ' Khalid decided to give him a proper answer and said, “Surely famine did not take us out of our land as you say, but we are a people in blood, and we know that there is no purer and more greedy blood than the blood of the Romans. That's why we came. " And the hero turned the reins of the rope, returning to the ranks of his army. And raised the flag high, declaring war. "Allahu Akbar," "Allah is greater than all." "Blow the winds of heaven." His armies moved like bullets, and a battle without a minister of terror began. And the Romans were exposed to what the Muslims did not expect. Khalid ibn Walid was thrown to the left wing of Rome with a hundred of his soldiers, although their number was forty thousand. And Khalid turned to the hundred men with him and said, "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, there is no strength or endurance left in Rome." And surely I hope that Allah will give you their shoulders. One hundred men attacked forty thousand and said they would win. And but what a surprise. Are their hearts full of faith in the great Almighty God? And isn’t the issue of life filled with confidence in the issue that is most about fidelity and guidance and reason? And their caliph is As Siddiq. He is such a man that while his states have risen above the world, he is milking the widow’s sheep with his own hands in the new capital of the new world in Medina. And with both hands he kneads the dough of the orphans' bread. And is not their army Khalid ibn Walid, the ointment of the temptations of aggression, oppression and violence, and the drawn sword of Allah against the forces of polytheism and heresy and backwardness? Didn't they?
Indeed, the innate genius of ‘Khalid’ amazed the Greek commanders and generals, and even one of them, Jarjah, invited Khalid to see him during one of the rest periods between the wars. When they met, the Roman commander began to speak to Khalid: O Khalid, tell me the truth and do not lie to me, for a free man does not lie. Allah has sent down to your Prophet a sword from the sky, and against whomever you strike it, you will surely defeat him. ' Khalid said, "No." The old man said, "Otherwise, why are you called the sword of God?" Khalid said, “Surely Allah has sent His Messenger to us and some of us have confirmed him and some of us have lied to him. And I was one of the liars, then Allah bound our hearts to Islam and guided us with His Messenger. As a result, we pledged allegiance to him. And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) blessed me and you called me one of the swords of Allaah, and so I was called the sword of Allaah. ”The Roman commander said,“ What are you calling for? ” Khalid said, "To know Allah as one and to Islam." He said, "Whoever converts to Islam today will be rewarded like you?" Khalid said, "Yes and preferably." He said, "How come you entered before us?" Khalid said, “Indeed, we lived with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and we saw his proofs and miracles. And it is true that anyone who hears what we see will easily convert to Islam. But as for those who believe not after seeing Him and hearing Him, your reward will be greater, if you make your hearts and your minds true to Allah. And the Roman commander marched and brought his horse to Khalid and stood beside him and said, "O Khalid, teach me Islam." And he became a Muslim. He prayed two rak'ahs for Allah. He did not pray other than that, for the two armies had resumed the battle. And the Roman Jarjah fought fiercely in the ranks of the Muslims in demand for martyrdom, even he was martyred and won with him. Suddenly, the arrival of a messenger from Madinah who brought a letter from the new caliph, Amir al-mu'minin, 'Umar ibn Khattab, came as a surprise. In that letter, al-Farooq sent greetings to the Muslim army and the news of the death of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, the caliph of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). He then had an order to remove Khalid from the leadership and appoint Abu Ubayda ibn Jarrah in his place. Khalid read the letter and whispered to Abu Bakr to thank him and to Umar to perform tawfiq. He then asked the person who brought the letter not to reveal the words in it to anyone, and ordered him to stand where he had commanded him not to move from there and not to associate with anyone. He continued his leadership of the battle by concealing the death of Abu Bakr and the orders of 'Umar. even until an impending victory takes place. And our hero came to Abu Ubaydah and greeted him with the salutation that an ordinary soldier would give to his commander. And Abu Ubaydah thought that this was a joke from the joke of the commander who had initially made the joke in his mind. And of course he kissed Khalid's eyes when he knew the truth and seriousness of the situation, and praised and praised the greatness of his selfish morality. Of course, this letter was sent to Abu Ubaydah by the Commander of the Faithful, 'Umar, and Khalid kept it until the end of the battle. And it doesn't matter if the case is the same or not. Of course, Khalid’s direction in these two cases is important to us. And indeed it was the direction of greatness and greatness and the highest peak of maturity. . So for him, like an emir or an ordinary soldier, each of them has a duty to perform his duty to Allah, in whom he believes, and to the Prophet whom he has pledged allegiance to, and to the religion which he has accepted and walks under his banner. the reason is deliverance. And the power he expends is like the power he expends in the case of an obedient ordinary soldier when he is an obedient emir. And indeed, this great victory over his own self prepared for him a model of the caliphs who stood over the Muslim state and the Muslim Ummah at that time, just as he was preparing for others. Of Abu Bakr and 'Umar. Whether or not the language of these two names brings these names to the surface, even every miracle of human greatness and human virtues comes to mind. Despite the occasional friendship between 'Umar and Khalid, of course,' Umar's justice and purity and piety and extraordinary greatness were never in question to Khalid.
The Commander of the Faithful did not hold evil against Umar Khalid, but criticized the speed and sharpness of his sword. In fact, he made this point when he asked Abu Bakr to cancel it after Malik ibn Nuwayrah was killed. And he said, "Surely Khalid's sword has speed, that is, sharpness, lightness and haste." At that time, the Caliph as-Siddiq replied, "I cannot blame the sword that Allah has drawn against the disbelievers." Umar did not say that Khalid had speed, but attributed the speed to his sword. These words, not to the person, express not only the decency of the Commander of the Faithful, but also the reward of Khalid. And Khalid is a warrior from the cradle to the grave. is the dress of a rider whose life is in danger before and after Islam. And as long as the sword is in the hands of an extraordinary warrior like Khalid ibn Walid, then a conscience full of passionate love for a religion surrounded by enmity and strife burning with the heat of purification and vengeance of the hand that holds it so it is difficult to give up a sword like his own with his determined goals and quick sharpness. And so we see that Khalid’s sword caused his owner a lot of trouble. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent him to some Arab tribes near Mecca after the conquest and said to him, "Surely I am sending you as a caller, not a warrior." His sword overcame him at his command. And it took him to the warrior circle. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) renounced the cycle of da'wah recommended to him. This caused the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to suffer a lot. When he received the news of Khalid's actions, he raised his hands towards the qibla. They apologized to Allah and said, "O Allah, I declare to you that I am innocent of what Khalid did." Then they sent Ali to pay them with their blood and the blood of their cattle. Khalid had extraordinary power. And a firm passion was urging him to destroy his entire ancient world. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent him to destroy Al-Uzza, we see a man fighting a whole army in the image of Khalid, who is destroying a statue with a sledgehammer in his hand, and is beheading enemy soldiers. Khalid would strike with his right hand, his left hand, and his foot, and would sigh as if he were looking at the shattered pieces and the fallen earth: “O uzzo, I do not glorify you, but I deny you. Surely I see that Allah has disgraced you. Then he kindles it and sets it on fire. The appearances of shirk and its remnants are each like al uzzo in the eyes of Khalid. There is no room for such things in this new world under the banner of Khalid. And Khalid knows no tool other than his own sword to finish them off.
On the day of Khalid's death (Women were unable to give birth to a man like Khalid.) 'Umar wept for him, and the people later learned that' Umar was not only weeping for Khalid's separation from him, but also for 'Umar's death. cries that he wasted an opportunity. For he had decided to return the emirate to Khalid if the death of the people had gone away, and if death had not reached him, and Khalid had not hurried to his Lord. Khalid was described by his friends and enemies as follows: "No one sleeps and no one is allowed to sleep." Of course, the smell and fragrance of this man will always and forever exist when the horse is galloping and the swords are shining and the flags of Tawhid are flying over the Muslim armies. He would say: “One night when a bride was given to me or a child was announced to her, Among the dead Sariya (army), the massacre that attacks the polytheists in the morning with them is not dearer than a hard night. That is why the tragedy of his life, he thinks, is to die in bed. Yet he is a man who has spent his whole life on the ropes and under the sword of the sword. He was the one who fought with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and defeated many brave men, leveled the thrones of Rome and Persia, stepped on the ground in Iraq and conquered it for Islam. An emir with the simplicity and humility of an ordinary soldier. And as an ordinary soldier with the responsibility and power of an emir. The tragedy of this hero’s life was that he died in his hero’s bed. Tears welled up in his eyes at this point, saying, “Indeed, I have fought so-and-so; there is no place in my body where there is no sword blow or sword stabbing or bullet wound. Now I am dying in my bed, like a camel, against my will. ” And as he anticipated the moments of the journey, he began to write his will. He bequeathed all his wealth to 'Umar ibn Khattab. His legacy was a horse and a weapon and a helmet (including the hair of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)).
And in the end, the hero's body came out of his yard, rising on the shoulders of his friends. And the mother of the hero who set out on her journey watched him with two eyes mixed with the veil of grief that shone on them, and said goodbye, “You are better than a million of the people. You are braver than a lion that protects its cubs. So you are generous with the flood that flows between the mountains. When 'Umar heard this, his heart beat faster and his tears increased. And he said, 'His mother was right. By Allah, it was indeed so. The hero was taken to his hospital. And his friends bowed, and the world around them was quiet and quiet. This horrible silence was not disturbed by the sound of a horse galloping, as we imagined, breaking its rope and running through the streets of Madinah behind the owner's body, guided by its scent and fragrance. And when he reached the mournful congregation and the damp grave, he turned his head like a flag, and his shouts sounded exactly like what the hero had done when he stood above him, shook the Persian and Roman thrones, and removed all backsliding and polytheism from the path of Islam. He did not take his eyes off the grave, but said good-bye to his master and his warrior, and many tears flowed from his eyes. In fact, Khalid had endowed him with the weapons of Allah in the way of Allah. And but after Khalid, will any rider be able to sit on his back? Or will the horse ride someone else over him? Praise be to you, O hero of every victory! Praise be to you, O Abu Sulayman. And may there be glory and eternity and fragrance in your memory, O Khalid. Let us repeat the sweet words of the Commander of the Faithful, 'Umar, who said goodbye to you and lamented to you: “May Allah have mercy on Abu Sulayman. What is with God is better than what is here. And indeed, he lived a life of praise. And he died happily. "

KHALID IBN WALID (? - 642) - Arab commander in the early Islamic period. Initially, he fought against Muslims. He converted to Islam after the Battle of Uhud (629).
After the death of Muhammad (pbuh) he suppressed the revolts of the Arab tribes in the Arabian Peninsula. He commanded the Muslim army that occupied Herat, and crushed the Lakhmis in Mesopotamia.
The commander took part in the conquest of Syria together with Amr ibn al-As, who later became the governor here. He was awarded the honorary title of "Sayfullah" - "Sword of Allah" for his great services to the Muslim community.

"He doesn't sleep and doesn't let anyone sleep."
Of course, his work is amazing. This is the man who defeated the Muslims on the day of Uhud and defeated the enemies of Islam in the remaining battles! Let’s quote from the beginning of his story.
Of course, one who focuses his eyes and mind on this phrase will be able to understand the similarities between the sword of Allah and the misguidance in the life of the hero of Islam. And as we reach these places in his life story, this phrase will be our guide in understanding and interpreting them. But now, so that we may immediately see Khalid, who became a Muslim, the rider of the Quraysh and the owner of the most rebellious horses in it, and that we may see the resurrection under the banner of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) as a prospect of a new world that Allaah has ordained. So that we can see the wonders of his work with Khalid, who is a Muslim.
Do we remember the message of the mujahideen for the heroes of Mo'ta warrior? It is known that they were: Zayd ibn Haritha and Ja'far ibn Abu Talib and Abdullah ibn Rawaha. in fact, they were the heroes of the Mu'tah campaign in Damascus. He said that the Greeks had gathered two hundred thousand soldiers in it, and that the Muslims had been tested beyond measure. And you may remember the great words of condolence that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) narrated on the death of the three commanders of the campaign: The continuation of this is as follows: Then the flag was taken by a sword from the sword of Allah, and as a result Allah won in his hand, so who is this hero? Indeed, he was Khalid ibn Walid. The three who commanded the army Commander Zaid, Ja'far, and Rawaha, as ordinary soldiers, hurried to the Mu'tah. .And Thabit raised the flag and headed towards Khalid ibn Walid and said, "Take the banner, O father of Solomon." Khalid replied to Thabit ibn Arqam, “No, I will not take the flag, you are more right to it: you are older and you have participated in Badr. And Thabit replied to him, "Hold him. You know the battle better than I do, and I swear by Allah that I took it only for you." He then shouted at the Muslims, "Do you agree with Khalid's leadership?" They said, "Yes." And the native wrestler settled on his lap. And he stretched out the flag with his right hand as if with it, knocking on the locked doors when it was time for the hero to jump on the long path of flames that he quickly jumped over. The Roman army, on the other hand, celebrated with innumerable and devastating victories. At this point, the sword of God, like an eagle, moved forward with its two eyes fixed on a wide battlefield, and made plans at the speed of light in its imagination. And the armies were divided into several groups and then each group was given its own task. And began to use his mature genius and miraculous skills. He even opened a wide open path among the Roman army, as a result of which the Muslim army came out safe and sound! And in this battle, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) considered Khalid worthy of this great nickname.
And the whispers that Arqam prayed in the courtyard yesterday turned into mature takbirs and triumphant analyzes of victory in Mecca today, as if the whole being seemed to be immersed in a celebration! How perfect was this miracle? Is there an explanation for this phenomenon? Nothing has any explanation for this verse, which these victorious warriors repeat happily among their takbirs and analyzes, looking at each other: “The promise of Allah is true. Allah does not break His promise. And Khalid raised his head and looked at the banner of Islam, which filled the horizon with lust, amazement, and kindness, and said to himself, "Surely, it is the promise of Allah."
And he agreed that the caliph should stay in Madinah. Ali blocked Abu Bakr's path and grabbed the reins of the horse he was riding. He said, 'Where is the Caliph of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)? Verily, I narrate to you the words of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) on the Day of Uhud: In the face of this unanimous decision by the Muslims, the caliph agreed to stay in Medina. And he divided the army into eleven groups, and determined the direction of each group. And Khalid ibn Walid became the leader of a large group of them. When the Caliph handed over his flag to each Amir, Khalid turned to him and said, “I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say, 'How good is Khalid ibn Walid, the servant of Allaah and the brother of the tribe. It is one of the swords that Allah draws against the disbelievers and the hypocrites.
mmmm Khalid continued on his way with this army, going from one battle to another and from one victory to another, even until there was a decisive battle.
In Yamama, he gathered the most dangerous of the Banu Hanifa and the tribes that joined him and all the apostate armies, and he was led by Musaylamatul Qazab. And some Muslim forces had multiplied by experimenting their share with the Musailama army and were unable to defeat it. Khalid received the caliph's order: "Let the Bani Hanifa go to the side." Khalid marched, and when he learned that Musaylama ibn Walid had set out in his own direction, he reorganized the army. And the real danger and horror from it poses a rival. And these two armies meet. And you have read in history and biography books that this terrible battle is going on. Khalid came down from a high hill with his army facing Yamama, and Musaylama was greeted with his arrogance and aggression. The end was unknown because of the large number of troops! Khalid distributed the salt and flags to the commanders. And the two armies attacked each other and a terrible battle ensued. And the Muslim martyrs fell like flowers in the garden, which was destroyed by a severe storm! Then the victor exclaimed in a loud voice, "Separate yourselves from each other, so that we may see each tribe today withstanding the test." And they all stood apart. The emigrants are under their own flags and the Ansar are under their own flags: And each great man is under his own flag, and so it was perfectly clear where he came from when the defeat came. And the curiosity of the lusts radiated and ignited. And full of determination and envy. Khalid would command him from time to time by drawing takbir or analysis or saiha, as a result of which the swords of the army would become their destiny, which would not hinder their ideas and return them to their deeds. In a matter of minutes the course of the battle had changed, and Musailama's soldiers began to fall in balance, hundreds, maybe thousands, like the flies that had been suffocated by the breath of life in it, the poisonous sprays of the deadly mosquito medicine! In fact, Khalid would transfer his uplifting power to his soldiers in amber (electric current) and his spirit would be embedded in his entire army.
The two mad empires hung on the rotten ropes of their distant destiny, tormenting the people in Iraq and Damascus, forcing them to fight the Muslim Arabs, who with this new religious banner and its sinkers struck all the fortresses of the ancient world and uprooted its ruins and remnants. At that moment, the great blessed caliph sent instructions to Khalid to march on the Iraqi side with his army. Whoever prays and faces our Qibla and is one of the animals we slaughter, then he is a Muslim. What is for us is the same for him. And that's exactly what we need. If this letter of mine reaches you, send me hostages and expect a covenant from me, and if not, I swear by God that I will send you a people who love to die as you love life! ” brought. Then he did not waste his time and began to walk on it with his soldiers to destroy the vanity. The husband was shrinking strangely at her.
The victory of Islam over the Persians in Iraq signaled a similar victory over the Greeks in Damascus. Abu Bakr Siddiq gathered an army of various kinds and placed several skilled commanders under their command. When Abu Ubaydah ibn Jarah and Amr ibn As, Muawiya ibn Abu Sufyan and the news of these armies reached the Roman emperor, he exhorted their ministers and armies not to make peace with the Muslims and not to go to war with them, and said: I will treat you with it. And to his surprise, of course, the campaign was determined by the state, and the steps and movements continued as expected, even if it seemed that he would not have even done the measure and calculation if he had said the sword blows in battle before. In this battle - in the same battle of Yamluk - when the army took its place, he summoned the Muslim women and for the first time gave them a sword and ordered them to stand behind the ranks of the Muslims on all sides and said to them: "Whoever turns his back, kill him." And this mature event justified its mission to a high degree! Before the battle began, the Greek commander demanded that Khalid appear before him to say a few words to him. And Khalid came out to meet him, and they came face to face on their horses in the plain that separated the two armies. The Greek commander said to Khalid, “We know that nothing has come out of your lands except famine. If you wish, I will give each of you ten pieces of silver and a head and food, and you will return to your own land, and next year I will send you the same amount. ' Khalid decided to give him a proper answer and said, “Surely famine did not take us out of our land as you say, but we are a people in blood, and we know that there is no purer and more appetizing blood than the blood of the Romans. That's why we came. " And the hero turned the reins of the rope, returning to the ranks of his army. And raised the flag high, declaring war. "Allahu Akbar," "Allah is greater than all." "Blow the winds of heaven." His armies moved like bullets, and a battle began without a minister of terror. And the Romans were exposed to what the Muslims did not expect. Khalid ibn al-Walid was thrown to the left wing of Rome with a hundred of his soldiers, although their number was forty thousand. And Khalid turned to the hundred men with him and said, "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, there is no strength or endurance left in Rome." And surely I hope that Allah will give you their shoulders. One hundred men attacked forty thousand and said they would win. And but what a surprise. Aren’t their hearts full of faith in the great Almighty God? And isn’t the issue of life filled with confidence in the issue that is most about fidelity and guidance and reason? And their caliph is As Siddiq. He is such a man that while his states have risen above the world, he is milking the widow’s sheep with his own hands in the new capital of the new world in Medina. And with both hands he kneads the dough of the orphans' bread. And is not their army Khalid ibn Walid, the ointment of the temptations of aggression, oppression and violence, and the drawn sword of Allah against the forces of polytheism and heresy and backwardness? Didn't they?
Indeed, Khalid’s innate genius astonished the Greek commanders and generals, even as one of them, Jarjah, invited Khalid to see him during one of his inter-war vacations. When they met, the Roman commander began to speak to Khalid: O Khalid, tell me the truth and do not lie to me, for a free man does not lie. Allah has sent down to your Prophet a sword from the sky, against whomsoever you strike it, you have defeated him. ” Khalid said, "To know Allah as one and to Islam." He said, "Will anyone who converts to Islam today be rewarded like you?" Khalid said, "Yes and preferably." He said, "How come you entered before us?" Khalid said, “Indeed, we lived with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and we saw his proofs and miracles. In that letter, al-Farooq greeted the Muslim army and reported the death of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, the Caliph of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). And Abu Ubayda thought this was a joke from the joke of the commander who had initially achieved an unimaginable victory. And of course, when he knew the truth and seriousness of the situation, he kissed Khalid's eyes and praised and praised the greatness of his selfish morality. Of course, this letter was sent to Abu Ubaydah by the Commander of the Faithful, 'Umar, and Khalid hid it until the end of the battle. And it doesn't matter if the case is the same or not. Of course, Khalid’s direction in these two cases is important to us. And indeed it was the direction in which he reached the pinnacle of greatness and greatness and maturity. . So, for him, each of them, like the Commander or the ordinary soldier, is only a reason for him to do his duty to Allah, in whom he believes, and to the Prophet whom he pledged allegiance to, and to the religion which he accepts and walks under his banner. And the power he expends is like the power he expends in the case of an obedient ordinary soldier when he is an obedient emir. And indeed, this great victory of his over his own self prepared for him a model of the caliphs who stood over the Muslim state and the Muslim Ummah at that time, just as he was preparing for others.
The Amir al-mu'minin did not hold evil against 'Umar Khalid, but criticized the speed and sharpness of his sword. In fact, he expressed this opinion when he asked Abu Bakr to cancel it after Malik ibn Nuwayrah was killed. These words, not to the person, express not only the decency of the Commander of the Faithful, but also the appreciation of Khalid. And Khalid is a warrior from the cradle to the grave. it is the dress of a rider whose life is in danger before and after Islam. And as long as the sword is in the hand of an extraordinary warrior like Khalid ibn Walid, and then the hand that holds it is set in motion by a conscience full of passionate love for a religion surrounded by hatred and strife burning with purification and vengeance, it is difficult to give up rapid sharpness. And so we see that Khalid’s sword caused his owner a lot of trouble. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent him to some of the Arab tribes near Mecca after the conquest and said to him, "Surely I am sending you as a caller, not a warrior." His sword overcame him at his command. And it took him to the warrior circle. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) renounced the cycle of da'wah recommended to him. This caused the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to suffer a lot. When he received the news of Khalid's deed, he raised both his hands towards the qibla. They apologized to Allah and said, "O Allah, I declare to you that I am innocent of what Khalid did." Then they sent Ali to pay them with their blood and the blood of their cattle. Khalid had extraordinary power. And a firm passion was urging him to destroy his entire ancient world. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent him to destroy Al-Uzza, we see a man fighting with a whole army in the image of Khalid, who was destroying a statue with a sledgehammer in his hand, and was beheading enemy soldiers.
On the day of Khalid's death (Women were unable to give birth to a man like Khalid.) 'Umar wept for him, and people later learned that' Umar was not only weeping for Khalid's separation from him, but that death wasted an opportunity for 'Umar. Because he had decided to return the emirate to Khalid after the charm of the people was gone, if he did not die for him, if Khalid did not hurry to the Lord. Khalid was described by his friends and enemies as follows: "No one sleeps and no one sleeps." Of course, the smell and fragrance of this person will always and forever be present when the horse is galloping and the swords are shining and the flags of Tawhid are flying over the Muslim armies. among them, the massacre that attacks the polytheists in the morning with them is no dearer than the hard night. That is why the tragedy of his life, he thinks, is to die in bed. Yet he is a man who has spent his entire life on the ropes and under the sword of the sword. He was the one who fought with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and defeated many brave men, leveled the Roman and Persian thrones, conquered Iraq step by step and conquered it for Islam. An emir with the modesty and humility of an ordinary soldier. And as an ordinary soldier with the responsibility and power of an emir. The tragedy of this hero’s life was that he died in his hero’s bed. Tears welled up in his eyes at this point, saying, “Indeed, I have fought in so-and-so, so-and-so; there is no place in my body where there is no sword blow or sword stabbing or gunshot wound. Now I am dying in my bed, like a camel, against my will. ” And as he anticipated the moments of the journey, he began to write his will. He bequeathed all his wealth to 'Umar ibn Khattab. His legacy was a horse and a weapon (including the hair of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)).
And in the end, the hero's body came out of his yard with his friends on his shoulders. And when he reached the mournful congregation and the damp grave, he turned his head like a flag, and his shouts sounded exactly as he had done when the hero stood above him, shook the Persian and Greek thrones, and removed all the forces of retreat and polytheism from the path of Islam. without saying a farewell greeting to his master and hero on this affair, many and abundant tears flowed from his eyes. In fact, Khalid had endowed him with the weapons of Allah in the way of Allah. And but after Khalid, will any rider be able to sit on his back? Or will the horse ride someone else over him? Praise be to you, O hero of every victory! Praise be to you, O Abu Sulayman. And may there be greatness and eternity and fragrance in your memory, O Khalid. Let us repeat the sweet words of the Commander of the Faithful, 'Umar, who said goodbye to you and lamented to you: “May Allah have mercy on Abu Sulayman. What is with God is better than what is here. And indeed, he lived a life of praise. And he died happily. "
