Abdulla Jalil (1948)

Poet and publicist Abdulla Jalil (Abdulla Abdujalilov) was born on May 1948, 15 in the city of Namangan. Graduated from Tashkent State University, Faculty of Philology (1972). He worked as a literary worker in the newspaper "Mashal" in Turakurgan district, editor in the newspaper of Pop district, chairman of the center of the Center for Public Opinion Research in Pop district, executive secretary of the Namangan regional branch of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan.

The tragedies in Fergana and Kokand took place while Abdullah Jalil was working at Pop. In this regard, in 1989 he published a journalistic article "Slander and the truth" in the magazine "Youth". The article has been translated into other languages. In 1992, Turkey's largest newspaper, Zaman, published a major article about Abdullah Jalil. Along with the author's biography, the article included his articles "Slander and Truth", "Hypocrisy of the XX century" and excerpts from the epic "Awakened Spirits". After that, his articles were published in the republican press, such as "What is the source of discord?", "Is having many children a sin?", "On the law and lawlessness."

In 1990, Abdullah Jalil's books "Letter to the Sun", in 1992 "Awakened Spirits", in 1993 "Slander and Truth", in 1994 "The Passing Day", "My Motherland" were published.

Abdullah Jalil's epic "Awakened Spirits" is based on the writings of Orhun Enasay. The poet expressed the modern sufferings of our people in the language of the ancient Turkic khans. The work calls on the people to unite, to develop an independent state, to expose provocations. Not to waste time, calls to seize the opportunity, to strengthen independence.

He also has an epic, The Dungan Tragedy, The Three Judgments, or The Three Wills of the Sogdians.
