Growing cucumbers

Cucumbers are grown in Uzbekistan under fine and fine film coatings. Covers are carefully closed over the furrows where the crop is planted. Seeds are planted in 2-3 nests in each nest with a spacing of 25-35 cm.

Cucumbers are grown in two ways under the tunnels with a thin film: by sowing the seeds directly into the ground or by transplanting seedlings. The seedling method ensures that the crop emerges 15-20 days earlier, while also increasing yields by improving feeding conditions and extending the yield period. Cucumber seedlings are grown in greenhouses with heated film. Seedling cultivation technology is similar to cultivation for filmless unheated greenhouses. 3–4-day seedlings with 25–30 leaves are best. Seedlings are planted in pre-prepared nests, and they definitely require watering. After the seedlings are planted, the adjacent and watering cans are straightened, tunnels are installed and watered.

When cucumbers are grown under temporary film tunnels, the period of sowing the seeds directly into the ground begins 5–6 days before the time of transplanting. The seeds are sown or sown at a depth of 3-4 cm and 3-4 seeds are sown in each nest, after which the irrigation branches are adjusted, tunnels are installed and watered. Seedlings can be planted at a depth of 10 cm when the soil temperature reaches 15 ° C, and the seeds are sown to a depth of 5 cm, ie a few days before the soil warms up to this temperature. The best time to sow seeds and seedlings in the suburbs of Tashkent is the last decade of March.
Applying only nitrogen fertilizer at the rate of 150-200 kg per hectare for the third time during the dry season also gives a positive result. During the installation of tunnels, the evaporation of water from the soil is reduced, so the cucumbers are watered less. Once the tunnels are harvested, the cucumbers are watered once every 4-5 days during the harvest period. Harvesting begins after the film and seams are harvested. Barra fruits are first harvested every 4-5 days and then every two days.
