Saydi Umirov was born on February 1938, 10 in the village of Juraboy, Payarik district, Samarkand region.
He graduated from Samarkand State University, Faculty of Philology. Saydi Umirov defended his dissertation on the works of the famous writer A. Qahhor.
Munaqqid's first book was published in 1974 under the title The Magic Key to Art. The book is dedicated to the skill of writer Abdullah Qahhor. He later published pamphlets and books such as The Role of Criticism in the Development of National Cultures, The Story of BAM, The Inviting Word, The Flowing River, The Taliban, The Pages of Ziyabakhsh, The Destiny of Dorilfunun, and A Journey to Spiritual Property. published.
Saydi Umirov died on November 2020, 14 in the city of Tashkent.
