When I first read the name of the famous Uzbek writer, statesman and public figure Sharof Rashidov in high school, I read the epic "Song of Kashmir" in the personal library of my grandfather Obloqul Murodov (may the future be prosperous). I recognized when I read. My grandfather Obloqul Murodov worked for many years as the director of the school he founded in the present-day Amir Temur mahalla. He was a very enlightened man and taught his children and grandchildren to read and learn.
After reading Sharof Rashidov's "Song of Kashmir" in full, I wondered if it was based on Indian mythology and where Sharof Rashidov got it from. However, I could not find any major books or research on Sharof Rashidov and his work.
In the years of independence, of course, we, the youth, realized that the dreams in the story, such as Erk, Hürriyet, Mustaqillik, came true.
After graduating from high school and vocational college, I entered the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute, Faculty of English Language and Literature. I learned a lot from my teachers during my studies. I have written scientific articles in the field of language and literature, participated in various scientific conferences, and finally became the winner of the 2016 Navoi State Scholarship. Therefore, in November last year, I was able to take part in a pre-election meeting with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Arnasay district. As I remember yesterday, Shavkat Miromonovich, in his speech, spoke about the life and work of Sharof Rashidov and praised his selfless work for Uzbekistan and the Uzbek people. He was hailed as the great son of the Uzbek people, and the words that we will celebrate the 2017th anniversary of Sharof Rashidov in 100 were applauded by the audience.
When I returned from the meeting, my teacher asked Professor Muhammadjon Kholbekov to learn more about Sharof Rashidov, and he told me what he knew about Sharof Rashidov's life and work and recommended that I read a number of books.
Go to the regional library and find Sharof Rashidov's short story "Winners", the novel "Stronger than the Storm", the short story "Song of Kashmir" and "Epic of Two Languages", as well as the short story "The Order of the Heart" written in recent years. I read. But I could not find the five-volume "Collection of Works" published in Uzbek and Russian languages during his lifetime.
While Sharof Rashidov's work was popular not only in Uzbekistan but also in the former Soviet Union and abroad, his "Kashmir Song" has been translated into a number of languages, including "Indian Legend" in Russian, Japanese and American theaters. ballets with. A feature film based on the story "Epic of Two Languages".
When we read the story of the "Song of Kashmir", the legendary heroes - the king of bees Bambur, the queen of flowers "Nargiz" are symbolized by positive images, the Storm against them, the pest Harut - are portrayed as negative. The most interesting thing is that on the Bambur and Nargiz side, birds, flowers, giant trees, fragrant scents, heart ties are connected, protecting them. In the wake of the storm and Horut, negative images such as wind, plague, hurricane and lightning appear. While writing in the flight of high imagination, the author symbolically incorporates into the story the vital activity of nature's revival, the language, the struggle for survival. The language of the story is rich, the vocabulary is colorful, the style is juicy, the style is charming, the richness of metaphors, adjectives and parables fascinates the reader.
Sharof Rashidov wrote "Kashmir Song" at the age of forty. This story has been reprinted many times during the writer’s lifetime.
Sharof Rashidov's "Epic of Two Languages" was originally written as a screenplay. At the beginning of the story, the author refers to an old book: “Each page of it is decorated with unique gold patterns and colorful plates, the first lines of which are written in Arabic letters:
Once upon a time, once upon a time
As long as there was a Blackbird, on the Indian side,
As long as he lived in his palace, it was as clean as light.
A fluffy white, delicate flower-like dancer.
begins with the lines A new page of the old book opens. The following lines will appear on the page with Arabic letters:
This moment is in another, very distant homeland
As long as Mudan is a musician on horseback,
Nash-u nava chashmasi u, joy,
Glory and pride to him who found a good profession.
During the event, the description of Karashakh Palace is given: Dancer girl Komde is dancing. At that moment, one of the servants in the palace opens the porch door. From afar comes the sound of a tanbur playing Mudan. This is where Komde and Mudan meet for the first time. During the events, Komde and Mudan's love grows, and evil forces try to intrude on their love. But in any case, the two hearts live in harmony with each other, and the following lines appear on the last page of the book.

So, when I talk about the work of Sharof Rashidov, I would recommend my peers - students to read his works. I think his story "Kashmir Song" and "Epic of Two Hearts" will be especially popular with young readers. As for me, I intend to translate the author's epic "Kashmir Story" into English and present it to him on his anniversary.
