Talented playwright Sharof Boshbekov not only wrote screenplays, but also worked as a director. In 1990, he was awarded the Hamza Republican State Prize. Sharof Boshbekov was awarded the Order of Labor Glory.

Talented playwright Sharof Boshbekov was born in 1951 in Samarkand. Sharof Boshbekov entered the literary world in the early 80's. Initially, he tested his talent in the story genre.

Sharof Boshbekov's stories "Option G" (1981), "Pride" (1982) and "Puzzle" (1986). After that, his colorful plays were created.

Sharof Boshbekov's "Fallen Tulpors" (1983) and "Who Knocked?" He wrote screenplays for comedies such as (1987), Iron Lady (1989), and The Revengeful World. He also created a serious comedy, such as The Old Town Gavros (1998). Recently, his drama "Door of Destiny" appeared. Especially the poem "Iron Woman" brought great fame to the writer. It humorously summarizes the serious changes taking place in the human mind, worldview and psyche during the development of science and technology. A film based on this work was also made (1990). He also wrote screenplays for films such as Sharif and Maruf, Faceless (1993), and The Golden Child (1994).

He wrote the screenplays for The Clown (1996) and Farhod and Shirin, as well as directing. He also created a 60-clip video called Charkhpalak.

He also wrote plays such as "Stupid Angels" (1995) and "Zordan Zor Chiksa" (1996). In 1989, his work "Iron Woman" was awarded the annual prize of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan named after M. Shaykhzoda. In 1990, he was awarded the Hamza Republican State Prize. He was awarded the Order of Labor Glory.
