"Masha" is famous for her role as an innocent riotous girl in the cartoon, with the bear trying to raise her and take care of her.
A team of 90 people spends up to 12 months to produce one series, and they work on up to 6 series at a time.
About $1 is spent on developing 50 minute of cartoon and up to $350 for one series. $26 million was spent on the production of one season of 6,5 series. The annual income of "Masha and the Bear" is about $20 million. Of this, 30% comes from selling TV broadcast rights, 60% from brand licensing, and the rest from online distribution.
