A poor worker was fired one day. His children were left without food and bread for three days because he had no other income. Wherever the man went in search of work, they closed the door, saying "there is no work." The cries of the children, who had been hungry for three days in a row, crushed the mother's heart. Desperate, she asked her husband, “Do you see the children? His face turned yellow from hunger. We can endure it, but they can't endure it. What will be the end of this work? Have you thought about that? ” he said.

The husband bowed his head to his wife and said, “I haven't been anywhere for days. I was looking for a job, at least for a month, so that you could have a full day. But no one is hiring me. This state of my children broke my heart as well. "But you see, I can't do anything." Then his wife said, “Then take my wedding veil and sell it. Bring something, no matter how much money, and let us feed our children. The rest is Allah Almighty. He is the Provider. Of course, a good door will open for us. "

The husband blushed with embarrassment and, thinking of the difficult situation he had fallen into, took the still-fresh handkerchief his wife had brought from the box and went to the market. The headscarf was not more than two dirhams at that time. He met a beggar on the way to get some food for the money he received. The beggar would say to the passer-by, “Do not go idle for the sake of Allah and the love of His Messenger. Doesn’t anyone want to help me to please God? There is nothing in the world, I am in real need.

The man who sold the handkerchief came to the beggar. He gave his wife's handkerchief money - the money he wanted to buy for his children who had not eaten for days. Now going home empty-handed was also uncomfortable. What would he say to his wife who asked for the money for the scarf? How can he say, "I gave you two dirhams for your veil, I gave it to the beggar, and I could not bear his begging"? With these thoughts, he entered the mosque, performed the evening prayer, and returned home empty-handed. His wife and children were waiting for him to bake some food.

They thought it would bring something better to stay late. The father looked desperately out the door, and his wife was amazed at the situation. And their children wept bitterly, thinking that they would be hungry tonight. The woman asked in a tone of both surprise and anger what she had done to the handkerchief.

The husband told his wife everything one by one. When she found out the truth, she said patiently, “As long as you give the money for the veil in the way of Allah, He is the Great and the Rich. In return for your generosity, He is able to repay us at any time. You did the right thing, where do we see that door opens? ” he said.

In the morning, the woman handed her husband a wall clock she had brought from her father's house and said, "Sell it and bring as much food as you can get in return." He goes to the market and tries to sell the watch. But no recipient can be found. Tired and exhausted, he came across a fishmonger. The fisherman shouted aloud, "There is a fish, a fish." He had only two fish left.

The poor man went to the fisherman and said, "This watch is for me, these fish will not benefit you, so give me these two fish, and I will give you this watch." The fisherman, who had been screaming since morning to collect the client, accepted the man's offer. He handed over the fish and took the watch.

The father, who was very happy to be taking food home for the first time in days, ran home with the fish in his hand. The children were overjoyed to see their father bring food. The woman went into the kitchen to clean the fish. After a while he was surprised and called his master. A large pearl came out of the belly of one of the fish.

The poor man took the pearl and went to the jeweler. The jeweler said that the pearl was priceless and that he would pay 14000 dirhams if he sold it to himself. The poor man felt that the difficulties were behind him. He realized that Allah had opened the doors of blessing for him. The jeweler sold it for 14000 dirhams and returned home with the money. He came home and told his wife what had happened. They all thanked Allah for clearing their sorrows.

At that moment, a beggar's voice was heard at the door: "Homeowners, give me what God has given you!" The poor man opened the door and said, “At that time, Allah gave us 14000 dirhams from a place we never expected. Since you are asking for what Allah has given you for the sake of Allah, I will give you half of this money and the other half will be ours. ”

Glad to have 7000 dirhams for a single word, the beggar went into his house to take out half of the money, and when he looked out there was no beggar. He looked around and saw nowhere.

The landlord fell asleep that day without worries and saw in his dream a beggar. When he was asked why he had left, the beggar said, “I was not a beggar, I was one of the angels of Allah. I have come to your house in human form to know how much you love good deeds and your degree of devotion to God. God sent me to your house to test you one last time and raise your level. The day before, when you sold your wife's handkerchief and received two dirhams, I was the one who received those two dirhams. Allah has given you a pearl for giving me those two dirhams in peace for the sake of Allah. And for your generosity today, you will reach Paradise, full of incomparable blessings in the Hereafter. ”
