If Ahmad doesn’t call you

One Ramadan evening, he broke his fast for a rich man from the nobles of Uskudar. After the meal, when he asked the guests how they were, he counted his wealth:

“Sir, I am growing melons this summer on my 1500-year-old land in Samandira.

One of the guests, a dervish, looked at him and said:

"If Ahmad doesn't call you," he said.

The rich man continued as if he had not heard:

- My dear, this year I will add new additions to my backyard in Beykoz.

Darvesh again:

"If Ahmad doesn't call," he said.

The rich man continued to ignore this:

- Next month I will send a large commercial caravan to India. I expect great benefits from this trade.

Darvesh again:

"If Ahmad doesn't call," he said.

The rich man could not bear it any longer, and became angry:

"Sir, if Ahmad doesn't call you, who is Ahmad?"

The dervish calmly said:

"Karacha Ahmad's graveyard," he replied.
