Barakalla, my child

One day, two fathers wanted to give their son to Ibn Sina as a disciple. One of them was very rich and the other was poor.
"O great physician, we have brought our children to you, if you accept them as disciples." If only Zora could become a doctor like you.
Ibn Sina agreed and said that he would try them and make disciples. Ibn Sina would test whoever wanted to be a student first, and then teach the science of medicine.
"My children," he said, looking at the young men who had come.
Ibn Sina said so and put the bag in the hands of the young men.
A few days passed. The first of the children came and poured the collected herbs in front of Ibn Sina. Seeing this, Ibn Sina rejoiced and asked:
"Bless you, my son, for picking the best herbs." Now answer one question. What is the treatment for swollen feet?
"I don't know about medicine," said the boy.
Ibn Sina:
"Didn't you learn alif in medicine during these ten days? You will become a salesman, not a doctor," he said to himself. Then he raised his voice:
"Answer you, son, go!" Go and become a disciple of the merchant! He said.
A day later, the poor man's son arrived. He poured the grass he had gathered under the judge's feet. Ibn Sina was pleased:
"Barakalla, my boy, tell me, what's the cure for a sore foot?" He asked.
"Wild basil or mint should be soaked in water and washed with a little rock salt," replied the boy.
"Suppose you can't find water in a desert, how can you quench your thirst?" Ibn Sina asked again.
"The water of Yantak satisfies thirst and cures it," replied the boy boldly.
"Thank you, son, you are no longer my student, you are my child!" Said the doctor.
